Entrance Preview

This was Amity University internal test. I scored 60 percent. It was aim to become engineer. Course curriculum was as per the aicte norms. Faculty was extremely talented and always ready to help us. It was great learning experience. My internship was in BSNL with no stipend. This was Amity University internal test. I scored 60 percent. It was aim to become engineer.

The companies were HCL 3Lac, TCS 3.6 Lac, L&T 5 Lac, HP 2.4 Lac, Wipro 3 Lac, Accenture 3.6 Lac, Approx. 30% students were placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

Not sure about scholarship. I took an educational loan from Punjab National Bank.

Campus Life

Male to female ratio was 65 to 35. Every extracurricular activity was helpful whether it was debates, fun fest or educational tours.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels in Amity are excellent. Food is also good. The average rentals are around 5000 per month including food.

External Expense: Rs. 4000 - Rs. 7000

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since curriculum was given by AKTU itself, colleges only has the power to choose elective subjects- Few subjects were my fav and helped me alot in lot's of different scenerios - like EDC,Network Theory and ofc VLSI Design was my fav. For ECE students - university shd mandate Satellite communication and VLSI Technology a compulsory as it's a kind of core subjects and in every PSU as well as govt exams , questions from this subject always been asked by authorities. More faculties staff's are required.

"Disciplined environment for serious students"

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum provide better understanding of the the concept mentioned. Also it is very helpful for competitive exams like gate. The Full course is highly recommended for mechanical engineering. The only thing is that, they are skipping some important topics which was very helpful for students.

Placement Experience:

After 7th sem for b.tech student and 5th sem for diploma student is ready for campus placement. The company is visited in my collage is Mahindra, Infosis, Tata, Maruti Suzuki , TCS ,Gallent.Their are near about 80% students are placed. After getting the degree I want to become a successful Mechanical Engineer.

i would rate the course curriculum as moderately relevant and avg in comprehensiveness . it covers core subjects and includes labs , which helped me choose jobs and further studies through it lacks depth in newer technologies. exams are held twice per sem plus internals and they are generally manageable if you study regularly

Good Faculty but not so good placement

Placement Experience:

Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, HCL, Adani are the top recruiters here but many other companies also visit here. The Faculty of Engineering and Technology has its own dedicated placement cell other than Central placement cell of University of Lucknow. Approximately 70% students at placed in every batch with a median package of 3.5 LPA, and Highest package of 12 LPA.
