BSD is one of the top 20 design colleges in Bangalore. Its state-of-the-art campus and amenities are exceptional. Also, it provides great experience and good industry exposure to its students. It also helps us with building our resumes and prepares us for future jobs and internships

The interior design curriculum is spread over 6 semesters in 3 years. The curriculum involves the basic fundamentals of designing, architecture and construction. The course aims at providing a complete knowledge of acoustics of interior design.

Our college provides proper training and helps us with resume building that ensures us great jobs. They have a strong network connection with various Architecture and Design firms that visit annually for placements. Although our college does not provide internships, they ensure us landing good internships in designing and architecture field.

Ever year we have an annual fest apart from all the cultural and social events. We have nice structured labs and good sports in our college. The gender ratio is almost equal and the campus environment is peaceful and interaction positive.

The fee structure of the course is quite expensive. The fees for each year is Rs 1,00,000 which sums up to Rs 3,00,000 for the 3 year design course. Even though the fee is expensive the amenities and facilities provided by the college live up to it and also the college provides good practical experience and industry exposure.

BSD has a wide range of extracurricular activities conducted on its campus every year. We have our annual fest Mosaic along with other events. The college also conducts industry tours for the students to a deeper look into the world of designing and architecture. The labs are well equipped. We have frequent workshops. There is no question of discrimination in any context.

I had submitted an online application along with scanned certificates that were necessary. After which I had to write a Design Aptitude test conducted by the college. I had scored more than 60% and hence I was called for an interview. I got selected in the interview and had to pay my fees for the course.

The faculty in the college was exceptionally well. All the professors either had a doctorate or has excelled remarkably in their niche. All the faculty members had an experience in the teaching domain.
