Remarks

It is more than 30 years old college. It has a good and reputed name in Tamil Nadu. The staffs at our college are very skilled. Infrastructure is good. If you are a minority student it is a good place for you to study.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum of our subject covers all the aspects of the course. You need to choose elective subjects these subjects are up to the students. The exam is knowledge-based there are internal exams, practical with internal assessments.

Placement Experience

I am not completely satisfied with the internship. Batches before us got placed on ordinary packages. We are not interested in campus placement. They do not provide any internship opportunities. Very few companies visit our college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I have paid the total fees of Rs1.6lakhs for 4 years this is my final year. You can pay the fee instalments per year. It is Rs40,000 per annum. For me, the fee is quite practical. They also provide free education for a certain community.

Campus Life

The vastest event that is celebrated in our college is Maecenas. Students from various college participate here. Students from all the race, caste and religion study here mostly minority students. Hostel day is celebrated here every year.

Admission

I applied online for this course. You should have passed HSC or it's equivalent with a minimum average percentage in mathematics, physics and chemistry for general category is 50% and for backwards classes, ST/SC it is 45% and 40%. If you are from another state you should need 60% in the relevant subjects.

They are very well versed. All the teachers are very competent. They teach us through PPT, field-based projects. you can easily understand their lectures. You get a lot of industrial exposure as well.

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

all staffs are we experienced in their field and good in explaining, very friendly
hostel is well maintained and college is always clean
everything works in college based upon the review system. so any issues will resolve quickly

Placement Experience:

HIMT has good placements rates to all the batches, espically for GME they are doing well good. many gets placements in first semester itself. many big gaint companies in marine industry are approching to HIMT for placements.

My bad campus life

The environment is very good.its very natural atmosphere.
Teaching and facilitys are nice.we can learn very much.
The all facility is near by near .its a good thing.

Dislikes

The management is very bad.they not consider our students.
The fees structure is very different for all students.its too bad.and they decided the fees category is very cheep.
The hostel facility is not good.and also food its very bad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually i like computer jobs. So i selected the course. Its very different one. Mainly programming. But its very interesting and valuable.cse computer science is a very high value course and i have lot of opportunities after completing the course. I.think in this types of course in curriculum they want to include practical sections more than text books.

Admission:

I got admission in this college via counselling. I had PCB in 10+2 and gave NEET which a national entrance test exam to get admission into medical courses. The scores obtained in entrance exam matters a lot in deciding the merit.
