Library
The library has a total collection of more than 38,186 volumes of books with 14,783 titles relating to various engineering disciplines and science & humanities
The library subscribes 173 periodicals with 121 Journals (inclusive of 41 international journals) and 52 number of technical magazines and subscribe 7 dailies
Hostel
A fully furnished hostel to accommodate 800 students functions with-in the campus. The rooms are spacious, well-ventilated, clean and hygienic
A reading room, indoor game facilities and a gymnasium available
Auditorium
MIET has a two auditorium. It can seat 1,000 people and comes with central air-conditioning. It has number of modern equipment such as multimedia projector and sound system
There is a secondary smaller auditorium which is capable of seating 300, and is often used to conduct meetings, symposiums and seminars

This college consists of around 20 laboratories and the Library was too big
Our college provide good faculty staffs and the college atmosphere was included with nature
Dislikes
The benches and classrooms were too old and lot of dust deposited on the benches and walls
Restrooms were not clean most of the sanitary wares were broken they didn't fix it
The didn't allow us to use our mobile phone if some staff watch us using mobile phone they will seize during the interva it's quite irritating

I applied for saranathan college of engineering ,Anna
University (Trichy),MIETEC I only prefered CSE course and I got government quota seat in MIETEC for CSE so I took it but I got seat from all above college but I prefer MIETEC because this college was oldest college and I like their infrastructure,MIETEC have both management and government quota they did not accept any exam their your cut off should be more than 120 to enter this college the admission process were good
Thier sports involvement. Always concentration on sports to won the trophy every year
Their cultural programmes will always conducted in good manner to give happiness to all without any fight betwewn departments
Dislikes
Their attendance mark procedures i wont like it.if yiu want to get full marks not only came full day to classes.
Their permission program i wont like much ,if you want to take any leave for emergency they wont approve you without proper permission

For me particularly, i have choosen this college for their hostel foods always well and good.
I didnt go for counselling. i choose one. i joined one.
So for me i made good decisions choosing the college.
library were so useful we can learn whenever we need

ADMISSION PROCESS WAS QUITE GOOD .ADMIN TEAM HELPED ME TO GREATER EXTENT.STAFFS DESCRIBED CLEARLY ABOUT THE BENIFUTS OF RESERVATION AND GUIDED WITH THE KNOWLEDGE ABOUT COURSE WHICH I HAVE CHOSEN. ALSO THEY EXPALINED ABOUT THE CAMPUS INTERVIEWS AND EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES.
these college does not contain any entrance exam for admission If you have good marks in 12th board exam You have a nice opportunity to join and study in these institution These college may provide the application form and take care of admission work You have a reservation benifits like counselling sc, st,
The admission process is to go to the college and visit the admission cell area and many staffs available at the place. they guide the students and parents about what is the course available and what are the facilities and fee structure etc.
Applications are filled by the Tamilnadu government counseling process. And the balance applications are filled on a merit basis by purchasing the application form in the college itself. Application fees are 100rs.
i would say its best for me, anybody can saay blah blah about the college but i would say its good bex=cause i would like to land my carrer and to gain knowledge its an great platform

24hrs outside Bus facilities are there.
More than 15 college Busses are there.
Two wheeler and four wheeler parking is there.

Negative Remarks -
Less importance on Sports.
Very good and well best.No words to say negatives.Good education,good infrastructures,Greeny environment,Security services and well best hostel.seperate hostel for boys and girls.Finally with placement.
If you are able to get admission in a Tier 1 college like Sastra, NIT or SSN this college is not the place for you. Only if you miss the Tier 1 colleges, MIET might turn out to be a better option.
