Remarks
Naah I don't hold any sort of grudges against my college. I had some pretty much awesome moments over there.over all I liked it.
Entrance Preview
Well I had given SRM eee which is a adaptive paper conducted by SRM itself. Based on the rankings the students gets to decide which campus he would be getting.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum as per my understanding was very tough. We had like a total of 113 subjects through the overall spell of college. But if one's focus is on something than its not that tough.
Internships Opportunities
Well as far as the internship is considered I got selected in Accenture for it.And I was given a stipend of 10k per month for that. Well it sounds low but is OK to me, as you have not even completed your graduation.
Placement Experience
The college managed to get almost each and every company of the respective branch. In the end it was upto the student and his grades and everything where he would get selected.
College Events
The college had hosted some large no of events and tech fest's. The students participation was quite huge in those events. Also we had conducted certain sports events in which nearby colleges would take part.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee is quite expensive. I would not disclose the amount.But in the end I would say that with all sorts of recreational activities and other things that the college provided it was well justified.
Fees and Financial Aid
Well there are certain scholarships that did exist ik our college. Apart from that the college did provided some sort of course to be completed from external universities based on your grades and your level of participation was in social activities being conducted in the campus itself.
Campus Life
The campus was huge. It was spread over 350 acres. I don't know exactly how much that is in terms of area measurement. But it was huge. The labs were well equipped with imacs.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities were quite good. We had a dedicated lan connectivity in each and every room. Apart from that we do had a WiFi that was available to all the students.
Alumni/Alumna
Well hoping to see them one day together as a part of SRM family. The seniors were super cool and quite a lot helping too. For every project assignment we would rush to their room seeking their guidance and help.
Exam Structure
The exam structure was quite hard. We usually had unit test conducted every month. After those tests were over we had our pre sem papers and the internal marks were calculated based on those Test and pre sem papers.
Faculty
The faculty was great. I remembered in 3rd year I had this subject Transmission lines and the faculty for that subject was a retired DRDO scientist.So now you can very well judge the level of expertise we had in our college.
