The management is quite irresponsible and doesn't tend to spend much on college maintenance. This is quite sad though.

SRMEEE I scored 10 th rank. I went through a counselling session. This event lasted for about a month. They asked me for my selection of the courses. I picked electrical and electronics engineering.

The course was more difficult than I imagined. Took long hours of studying to clear it. I picked bio engineering and computer networks as electives. The curriculum was same for everyone for nearly 2 years after which the studies starts to branch off. So initial 2 years was fun since lots of friends were there to give each other company while studying irrespective of the branches one chose.

There was no stipend of internship arranged by college. Everyone had to arrange their own internship program during their 3rd year using ones one influence to arrange for internships.

The core company job placement for the college was horrible. Around 2% placement in the area. Rest all got placed in the software companies.

Aarush, Milan were the important. Milan included students from their colleges too. All the events are 3 day program. For those not interested this was the time one could go home since technically one would get one week worth of holidays during these events.

Expensive for the limited facilities provided. Nri students were literally milked and had to pay double the normal rate without providing them with any extra facilities. The fees had to be paid on yearly basis and no books were included in the fee amount.

There are NRI organisations who provide scholarships for financial backward classes. Other than that SRM provides scholarship for the top students in the class for a fifty percent rebate in the fees paid.

There are all sort of activities which students can engage in like ncc or even sports activities like hokey football or volley ball. Those who comes through sports quota are made to work out during the weekends but they don't have to attend much classes.

During my days exam was divided into two parts. Ten two mark questions and five sixteen mark questions. Sixteen mark questions has two options.

The college faculty was okay though they were mostly Tamilians so they favoured Tamilians intentionally or not not up to me to decide. So of them sucked in English too so we just sat in last bench and slept off whenever we could, but they were a few excellent teachers too who were very kind and ended standing of us students.
