SRMJEE was the exam that I took n fortunately cleared it. The reputation of the university mad me to opt this university. I even cleared HIETSEE but did not join that university. The admission process was easy. I did get the course which I wanted to join.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is pretty simple. 8 semesters. First two semesters are the basic concepts from physics, material science, chemistry, calculus, electronics. As opted for mechanical engineering students are given a basic knowledge about the department by a subject called BME. Basic Mecahnical Engineering. We from day one are exposed to Career development and placement training as a subject.
Internships Opportunities
Ford. Tata Motors. TCS, WIPRO, L&T, TI, TVS, DAIMLER, MERCEDES BENZ. Do your best the college always pampers you. No doubt you will be placed in a good company at the end of your course. Infact placements in SRM start from 3rd year. The time you reach your 7th sem your will already be holding a job in some reputed organization.
Placement Experience
Current year 6498+ students were placed in many reputed companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, DAIMLER, Tata Motors, TI, L&T, Sutherland, Renault, Ford. Every single student of the batch 2011-16 was placed.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is feasible, through counselling 1.8 lakhs per anum. Plus books and transport. Which is a great. Totally worth it. And if you wish through management quota. Then 2.5 lakhss per annum + books and transport. You are provided everything inside the campus. Except the meal. But as a solution there is a food court with great ambience and highly hygienic food being served.
Fees and Financial Aid
There ate education loans available. But have no much idea about it. The loan is provided by CUB. At very low interest rates may be somewhat 1-2%.
Exam Structure
Nothing to worry about the exams. Every month there would be a class test. Which will be pretty simple. Every thing asked here will appear in the university examination. The faculty focuses mainly on the important questions on the completion of the syllabi. The labs are well maintained n equipped. You can take a good advantage of it.
Faculty
You can never expect this kind of faculty anywhere. They are soo friendly n very much supportive. They are well trained and highly knowledgeable people.
