Entrance Preview

I attended the SRM entrance exam and got a good rank. I opted for this college because of the infrastructure and freedom in the campus.

Internships Opportunities

Many product companies like Mu Sigma, Thought works, payoda, Amazon, etc. Internships were offered to students and stipend was ten thousand to twenty thousand .

Placement Experience

Amazon, Mu Sigma, tcs, wipro and Infosys, cts, think ane learn, go frugal, Accenture, and many more companies came. The highest package was 12 lpa .

College Events

Technical fest like Aarush, Axia tech and cultural fest like Milan in conducted here. Management fest like panacea and bazaar also take place. They last for a week with a variety of events.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have availed merit scholarship. There are many other scholarships like founder scholarship for those who can't pay the entire fees .

Campus Life

The extra curricular life is good. Students of all gender, race and nationality study here. The communication between those students gives wide exposure.

The seniors are very helpful and support a lot. My seniors helped in choosing the right faculty and right subjects in every semester. They guide you well with their advice. It was a pleasure to know them all.

After 6 semester the students are eligible for all the core and it placements. For us the core companies are Capgemini tech pub(32), sopra steria(5) and boeing . The highest package is 8lpa and average is 5 lpa Out of 100 55 students are getting placed each year. I got placement in Capgemini and I am working on Capgemini.

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.
