Remarks

My institute is very cool and I am kind of elevated with it. It has everything, like well-equipped labs and classrooms, a library with a number of good books that are worth reading, medical facilities available 24*7 etc.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum for the Master's degree is a little tricky and vast as well. Exam and lab patterns are very frequent and sometimes leave us with hectic days. We have 2 semesters every year and it is 2 years and 6 months of compulsory internships program.

Placement Experience

4.5

There is no way that you complete Master's from a well-established government medical institute and don't end up getting a nice job or placements in any companies or hospitals. Moreover this institute provides 6 months internships after completion of degree, so that you have a practical experience of all the theoretical teachings in the classrooms.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is government medical institute, so of course the fee structure is not at all expensive and can be afforded by every student coming from any background. My 2 years Master's Degree costs me around Rs 20,800 inclusive of all the fees.

Campus Life

Apart from keeping our minds intact with academics, courses and syllabus, we also actively participate in various other extra-curricular activities like blood donation camps, plantation camps etc. We also have several other interesting workshops, seminars, conferences related to our course or related to something different.

Hostel Facilities

I was lucky enough to get hostel facilities, as accommodation is pretty less as compared to number of students pursuing their degrees here, students can make their own arrangements if they don't get hostel. Every year they have to apply for hostel as well. And for this I would rate it a 7 out of 10, rest everything is good, good comfortable rooms with clean bathrooms, mess with good food etc.

Admission

The admission process for Master in Physiotherapy in this institute is similar to other medical college, that takes place through National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) exam. I qualified the exam and on the basis of my rank, I got admission in this college.

Faculty

4.5

We have very good and experienced faculties with us. They are very helpful and guide us as well as instruct us in every step during our classes. They not only teach amazingly in classrooms but also conduct interesting practicals and give great assignments. They also share their research works with us.

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college are decent, especially for computer related branches. Students usually become eliggible for campus placement from the 7th semester. The placement cell conducts taining programs from earlier semesters, including aptitude tests, technical sessions and mock interviews to prepare students. Many companies visit the campus every year, mainly from the IT and software sector. Some ofthe common recruiters include companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Cognizant and mid level companies. A few products based or higher paying companies also visit for specific branches. The average package is usually around 4-6 LPA while the highest package can go above 10-12 LPA in some years, especially for computer science and IT students. The placement percentage varies by branch, but overall, around 70-80 % of eligible students get placed with higher percentages in computer related branches. As for my personal plan, after completeing my degree, I aim to get a good campus placement in a reputed company and start my career in the engineering field. I also plan to keep improving my technical and communication skills during the course to increase my chances of getting a better package.
