Entrance Preview

SRMEEE, Rank 5469College is good, well known and overall quite functional.There has been many advertisements and has been on the list of top colleges for quite a while. Has a legacy and is one of the known names in the country after IITs, NITs, and BITS but at the same time is at par in providing ample opportunities for deserving students.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is the one because of which most of the courses in SRM in Engineering are ABET accredited. Its thorough and one of the most balanced syllabus and in no way is any less from leading colleges in India.

Internships Opportunities

Generally we have a few companies and courses when it comes to internship, mostly its from the student's side and efforts, but more often than not there comes a company offering courses with extra credits that may in later stages help in placements in the same company too.

Placement Experience

Its excellent if you are in IT or CS. For rest of the core students, ample opportunities are available but it requires great efforts from student's side to make through one of these companies as the in take from these companies are very less. GOOGLE, IBM, SEAGATE, SCHNEIDER, M&M, VERIZON, are a few of them. Mass recruiters are always there.

College Events

Events are amass. Many to be named. and that too for every kind of student. Be it cultural fest, management fest, technical fest, sports events, seminars, guest lectures, workshops, certificate courses, etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Its not that expensive when compared to rest of the colleges in the country. Moreover loans are available too nowadays. Its almost 2.35 lacs now per annum and the price tag is arguably justified given the infrastructure and the exposure available in the campus and abroad.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is one of the most balanced one. Two CTs in first two months and then a month gap followed by Model exams and 10-15 days after Model starts University exams. All practical exams are scheduled before University theory exams.

Faculty

Faculty is good if you are in section As or Bs or sometimes Cs too. But I cannot comment beyond that. These classes get the best faculty through out the course, and though it may sometimes feel like injustice but for longer run students in these classes excel often.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

My bad campus life

Likes

The environment is very good.its very natural atmosphere.
Teaching and facilitys are nice.we can learn very much.
The all facility is near by near .its a good thing.

Dislikes

The management is very bad.they not consider our students.
The fees structure is very different for all students.its too bad.and they decided the fees category is very cheep.
The hostel facility is not good.and also food its very bad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually i like computer jobs. So i selected the course. Its very different one. Mainly programming. But its very interesting and valuable.cse computer science is a very high value course and i have lot of opportunities after completing the course. I.think in this types of course in curriculum they want to include practical sections more than text books.

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

Colleges which I have applied for was Sree Ramachandra institute in tamil nadu, MGR University IISER But I only got confirmed admission from SRM by writing a medical entrance exam.
