Remarks

As a whole i would like to say that our university was pretty good when compared to other university. And i have learned a lot from this university apart from the basic curriculum and academics.

Entrance Preview

Karunya Entrance Examination. Rank was 1500 Mechanical engg. is the best course in this University.

Internships Opportunities

College had many internship program. Stipend depends upon the company and the job you do.college had a program also called 'earn while you learn' which gave many studemt fees waiver or stipend. College also had an exchange program called 'I.A.S.T.E.' which is an international student exchange program with which many students were benefited by carrying out there project work in different international colleges with different experiences.

Placement Experience

There is huge no. of companies that came for placements and i dont know the packages for al l as i was never interested in placements. You can contact our placement officer for detailed report.

Fee Structure And Facilities

When i studied the fees structure was expensive and it is getting more expensive every year. I completed my btech degree for approx. 10 lakh everything included.

Fees and Financial Aid

Loan facility was there from central bank and tmb bank which was easily available as these banks have a tie-up with our university. And our university had various scholarship program of which i knw only about one which was called as DGS DHINAKARAN SCHOLARSHIP which was available to every one.

Alumni/Alumna

There is alumni meet every year in our college as a whole and they have it department wise also. There is one special thing about our college that i have not seen in most of the other colleges that they have alumni meet all over the world in different part of the world.

Exam Structure

Exam structure in our college when i studied was like we had 3 internals and a final exam every semester. Internals were conducted after every 30 working days and it was never hectic was pretty chilled out.

Faculty

The faculty in our college were good and well disciplined. The staff of our college dedicated special time for each and every student. There were special counselling session by staff for students.

Beyond the classes: My College Experience

Placement Experience:

Our college is well known for its placements. Almost many MNC companies like Amazon,TCS, visit our college and recruit the top performing students.Students are instructed to do 30 days of internship in remote,hybrid or industrial online before their 6th semester.During the 7th semester, students become eligible to attend the placements. The highes package offered previous year was 21 lakhs per annum and the average package is around 5 lakh per annum. Here students receive 3 options 1. Placement 2. Masters 3. Government Exams . As far off noe, 98%percentage of students who opt for placements get placed. I want to get placed after finishing my degree.
