Internships Opportunities
The college doesn't emphasis much on internships, people hardly go on internships,few people manage to go for internships abroad through IASTE else. There are no on campus internship opportunities.
Placement Experience
About 70% of the college students from Engineering get placed, most of them being IT companies who hire in big numbers. Wipro, Accenture, Capgemini, Infosys are few companies who visit the campus. Avg package would be 3.25.
College Events
Not as big as Riviera or Aarush, but a good place showcase your entrepreneurial initiatives. Christmas Mega Play - The biggest event Karunya, the college invest a lot of money on it and almost 50% of the University takes part in it.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is Slightly expensiveIt costed around 6.5 L for four years, costing 1.5 L + or each year .The cost is inclusive of the Laptops, exam fee, hostel fee , internet fee, placement training, food etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
No/ I am not aware of. Generally bank are quite generous in providing loans/ but I don't think the college offers any big ticket scholarships.
Campus Life
The Campus life has 2 parts, being fully residential Campus, it is world of its own, if your are lucky your neighbor could be a a guy from Czech Republic and it gives you a different level exposure. The college has very healthy Gender ratio. There too many grounds in Campus and Campus is always active when it comes to sports.
Alumni/Alumna
The college has recently started engaging with Alumini, the college being a 25 year old has a very strong Alumni base which is spread across the industries.
Exam Structure
It is bi-semester pattern for four years. Every semester has a set of practical exams and theory. Exams are usually well planed and make sure that students have enough time to prepare.
Faculty
The quality of faculties are not great, the college of this reputation can attract better faculties. Faculties from Mechanical and Civil are one among the best. CSE and IT has relatively less good teachers, make sure you select the subjects of those teachers.
