My Journey With Mirza Ghalib College - [MGC]

I chose Mirza Ghalib College to do my graduation in English. I scored pretty satisfactory marks that landed me here. It is a good college to complete graduation as well as post graduations. However, I would like to state that the college admin needs to work on the infrastructure for our juniors to come.

My English program was a three-year full-time program covering all the latest curriculum stated by the UGC. Other than my English graduation program students here can pursue any other degree courses and any masters degree in some other subjects as well. For all the graduation program the basic criteria are, one needs to pass their 12th with a satisfying score. And to opt for Master? degree one needs to finish their graduation.

Yes, there is placement along with internship program offered from college. If you study hard and score pretty good then the college administration helps you with a secure job and a bright future. I watched my hard-working seniors getting placed at some of the well-known corporates as their first gig.

The fees structure comes with the feasible tag which is absolutely great. And I can assure you that the education offered here is great therefore the fees and time you spent here is not all waste. Additionally, the supportive faculty makes it power pack combination to be precise. Therefore undeniably I took a good decision in choosing this college.

Since I belong from the minority section, therefore I preferred taking a scholarship that is offered from the college end. However, unfortunately, there is nothing as such offered from the college for general or OBC students. They can opt for scholarship program which is given by our government.

My college comes with standard laboratory, library and computer lab, satisfying the basic requirement of academics which is actually pretty great. Additionally, my college never misses a chance of excluding a single occasion. They love organizing events and cultural program to instil a sense of unity amongst students and faculty in a great way.

The admission criteria for this institute is pretty simple. One needs to score around 45% to apply for my course i.e, English honours. After that, I sat for a common entrance test conducted by the college authority set on a particular date and time. The exam structure were divided into the English language followed by comprehension, then mathematics after that coupled with G.K and general awareness. I passed and thus secured a position in this college.

My college comes with a brilliant group of people as faculty who knows their work precisely. They offer us with remarkable classroom time thus instilling their experiences associated with the subject and program. Additionally, I receive their cooperation in other platforms as well such as during any cultural programs.
