Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very good for bachelors in microbiology. you get to spend a lot of time in laboratories learning new things and exploring. you get a lot of research assignments and projects so that you can enhance your knowledge and the exams are held semester wise.

Placement Experience

The college offers placements usually for the students you can get recruited easily and not for those who have jobs of teaching etc. The packages offered are average or sometimes even low. If you do not get a job in the campus they prepare you well so that you can get it later.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is highly feasible as compared to other colleges. I paid around 3200 for my first year and almost the same for consecutive years. I could pay for the fees for my own earnings from the internship

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes the college offers various scholarships for students on the basis of merit and necessity. There are scholarships offered by the college for those who can't pay their fees for example the Economically backward classes and there also special scholarship for SC /ST students

Campus Life

There are a lot of sports activities going inside campus. The college also conducts various seminars and workshops for students. the are various cultural associations and clubs and you can join them according to your choice.

Admission

The admission in the college is through your marks in 12th standard. You have to fill an application form forest and submit your details and on the basis of your 12th standard marks they decide whether you can get an admission or not.

The faculty of the college is excellent and there is a good environment. The teachers focus on the practical approach of teaching. They are highly qualified and understanding and their support the students through thick and thin.

Placement Experience:

People who major in my department usually opt for masters over placement not because of this college but because overall industrial or academic opportunities are better with a pg degree. Masters from this college is not recommended as i have heard so from my seniors. Some of my seniors managed to crack competitives and secure MSc seats at great places. Training and Placement cell had a good coordinator previously but now its almost non existent. Companies do come and hire Bpharm, Mpharm and MSc candidates. Packages are below average. Only Nestle pays well. But if you do well you'll eventually climb up the corportate ladder. From the time i am here i have not heard of any BSc candidate getting placed. Most go for higher studies.

Placement Experience:

Well as far as mh knowledge students get to placements from 6th semester itself . Well there are placement classes from 3rd semester itself . The placement track record of the college is quite good with most year about 90% gets placed with good companies comming like Deloitte, EY GDS , JP MORGAN, Oracle , offering high amount of placement offers like around 20+ lpa . Well I am not sure about my plans maybe if the palacement is good I'll take it or will be preparing for GATE (Whose courses are also provided from college .)

1)From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement. 2) Cognizant , TCS(most fav), Wipro, startups, IBM visit for recruitment . 3)In 2023 highest was 45lpa by amazon average is 4.5lpa. 4)From our Hostel each and every senior get placed. some with good package like tcs digital, even off campus (2025). 5)My plan is to take a job and enter in IT firm to learn and teach new technolgies through my YOUTUBE.

Niper Kolkata: from starting to end

Placement Experience:

2nd year students are eligible for the campus placement. Sai, Hetero, mendine, dr. Reddys etc companies visities for the campus placement. Offers ranges from 5-12 lpa. 60% students gets placed, 10% goes for higher studies and others get job off campus in my department. Other departments has 100% placement. My plans are pHd from Niper as it provides vast knowledge and instrumental exposure.

Placement Experience:

The placements are really nice. Every year, a large amount of students are employed by Tech Mahindra, CTS, TCS, Wipro, etc. all software giants. The starting salaries are also decent. Most students get placed, but 100% placement has also been achieved by the college now.

Good College

Placement Experience:

Placement eligibility usually starts in the final year, but there are limited opportunities. Some IT and outsourcing companies visit, but they offer low salary packages. The average package offered is not very high about 3-4 LPA and only a small percentage of students get placed. Many students prefer to pursue an MCA or learn additional skills like web development, data science or cyber security to improve their job prospects. After completing my BCA, I plan to gain experience in IT related jobs improve my technical skills and possibly pursue higher studies like MCA. I might also explore freelancing or certification to increase job opportunities. Since I already have customer service and telecalling experience, I may also consider IT support roles before moving into core technical jobs. Building skills and networking will be important for getting a good job after graduation.

In case of computer science department, placement is provided at the Last year of M.sc course. Many companies like Wipro, b10x, Tata visited here.
