Course Curriculum Overview
There is great exposure to a lot of new things in this course. One of the major things I learnt was how important and fun practical education can be. Prior to this, I was mostly cooped up in classes learning theory. Now I know that practical aspects have a greater impact on how we learn. This is what this course focuses on.
Placement Experience
Indian Institute of Soil Science or IISS as people call it, is an institution which focuses on providing quality education and has students who are more tilted with a life in educational lines only, and thus, the placement opportunities are not too much exploited.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure at our Institution is very feasible for everyone. It being established by the Government, the fees is not an issue at all, and that too compared to the kind of education we get is nothing less than a blessing for us.
Campus Life
Our institution has state of the art equipment in labs, gyms, cricket fields, events and even dignitaries visiting from all over the world to talk about various topics. It is an institution where we interact with new people freely and have a great time together while learning
Admission
The admission procedure is two fold. First, you have to pass a test, MHRD Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering, there are others, too like this, conducted by NET. Then you have to walk in for the interview at IISS Bhopal, and then you get selected.
Faculty
The faculty of the college is one of the very best in the country, not exaggerating. They hold a lot of degrees and yet that doesn't change how they behave with us. More than their knowledge, what touched me was their eagerness to make us learn.
