Good university for veterinary studies.

I can say our university was one of the best university in the whole city. The university provides very good quality of education and facilities. The teachers are very qualified and experienced. The non teaching staff are very helpful and supportive. The university has a well established and furnished library, specious classroom, laboratory, canteen, auditorium, playgrounds, hostel etc. The location of the University was very good. The university was one of the best place for quality education.

The course curriculum was vast but very effective and interesting. It was a five years course. The curriculum includes theory, practicals, course work, Internship, field work etc. The curriculum was based on the study of para clinical, Applied veterinary science, Animal Husbandary. The exams are not at all hectic. The university conducts its Internal Assessment examination in the mid of the each semester and final examination at the end of each semester

Internship was provided by the university. Placement was very good in our university. Many agricultural and food processing companies like Milky Mist, Zydus, Amul, Milma Milk, Mothers Dairy etc come to our university every year for campus recruitment. They recruit students according to their ability and skills. The companies offered a minimum salary package of 3 lakh per annum and the maximum salary package of 5.5 lakh annually. Besides these many other career options are also there in the field of government and private sector, veterinary Doctor, veterinary officer, Veterinary Inspector.

The fees structure was very feasible and manageable for all the students. My yearly fees was around 20000 rupees. The entire of my five years course was 1,00000 lakh rupees. The fees was very good as per the demand and facilities provided by the university.

The university provides a very good platform for the students by organizing many extracurricular activities. Many activities like plantation programme, blood donation camp, workshops, seminars, sports, annual functions, traditional day etc are organized. In our university days we participate in most of the activities and enjoyed a lot.

The admission process in our university depends upon the results in the last qualifying examination and on the marks obtained in the entrance examination. Students should have passed their 10 +2 examination from science stream with Biology, physics and chemistry are eligible to get admission in this course. Students should also have to qualify their GUJCET entrance examination which was conducted by the University. My final selection was based on the entrance examination and the results in the last qualifying examination

Most of the teachers of our university have many years of experience in their respective fields. They focus in the quality education of the students. Besides regular classes, they also takes extra classes for the students which helps us a lot in our studies. Teachers are very friendly and helpful.
