Remarks

There is no negative remark which I can point out about my university. From facilities to studies everything is top class. As we have experienced faculties we are able to grasp the environment of an hotel and which in turn helps us get motivated.

Course Curriculum Overview

B.Sc Hospitality Studies is a detailed course that provides the students to understand the different departments that any hotel has and helps them understand how each department manages their works and also explaining how the communication process is done. Most importantly the information technology is explained to the students as the there is a regular upgradation of technologies. The exam is mostly objective oriented question and case studies.

Placement Experience

4

Each and every student at ICE gets placed in 5 star hotels, Airports, Retails, Restaurants and all the Hospitality arenas. Students from financially weak background get an opportunity to start working right from their first year in-order to finance while gaining industrial exposure. During industrial training many of my seniors have awarded for their outstanding performances.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The total fees for my course are 111,000 Rs. I paid 37000 Rs. when I joined the college for a year. For the consecutive two years I need to pay 37000 Rs. per year. The fee structure for this course looks very decent and affordable and more or less similar to that of other hotel management institutes. Hostel and mess fee are nominal.

Campus Life

There are many cultural and extracurricular activity carried out by the university for the enjoyment of the students from our busy hectic schedule if studies. We usually celebrate many festivals and food festival is one famous among them. Well constructed Wi-Fi-connected campus with well equipped laboratories. Apart from subject related activities they also encourage the student? personal interests which is appreciated.

Alumni/Alumna

We currently don? have a alumni but the management is working on it. They are very interested in identifying the positions of the passed out students who are successful and in turn they look forward to act as a motivator to the present batch students. And seniors do guide us with our problems and help us by providing necessary information and materials whenever requested and I am thankful for that.

Admission

The admission process in ICE College is online. I am admitted in B.Sc Hospitality Studies and in order to apply one should have passed the qualifying examination under 10+2 pattern with not less than 45% of marks which is recognized by the syndicate as equivalent to Higher Secondary Examination of the Government of Maharashtra, are eligible for admission. Later an interview with faculties was arranged and I managed to clear it and get admission.

Faculty

4.5

All the faculty members are well qualified and experienced in their respective fields. They are always ready to help the students. Counselling and doubt sessions are held by them from time to time. They also help the students in their preparation for interviews.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As this college is under mumbai university so this college cannot modify syallbus in their own the have to strictly follow the university prescribe syallbus, academic timelines, rules and norms of the mumbai university. I have taken the admission in this college in the year 2024 from this year the NEP-2020 was adopted by the every indian universities and instituites. Since NEP-2020 was adopted also by mumbai university some new subjects are added to the syallabus that are oriented to financial literacy,Entreprenuianl, indian laws related subjects the syallubus of this subject is very good to see in the syallabus pdf. But the ground reality is different this subject is not given much importance by faculties the are treated as not much important subject as their are not related to our course as a result the students also take these subjects lightly. Also the professors appointed for this subjects are not much good they appoint the faculties who are recent graduates of their college who are working now as a professor in the same college. The college treat this subject lectures as an practice for the fresh faculties to gain experience of how to teach students. The core subject syallbus is same not changed the mumbai university has just changed the name of the subject. The college professors just teach the subject but they do not teach in that way that it makes us ready for real world problems. And also in the first year all the subjects are common for all the branches of the engineering which consist of subject like physics, chemistry, mechanics,Basic electrical Electronics,Engineering Graphics. It is my opinion why should an student who is studying an course called Computer Engineering so why should i read the subjects of the other branches like civil, mechanical, electrical and electronics in my first year instead of my domain subjects for whole two semester and the timespan of almost an year
