Course Curriculum Overview
The course is structured well, with all the relevant topics included over its duration. The topics are put considering the requirements of the subject, and they are no doubt very important, as I have since seen. Examinations and laboratories are held regularly. There are yearly examinations, and smaller ones in between. They are well-spaced, and not very hectic.
Placement Experience
The college does help us in getting internships. We got good internships in different firms or colleges, depending on our choices. The placement scenario could improve, but the college authorities do the best they can. The Career guidance and placement cell helped prepare us for interviews and placement season. Suguna poultry Farm Ltd, Solamalai Enterprises, Sumitoma Agrochemicals, Amarajyothi Spinning Mills, Book Craft India Pvt Ltd are some of the companies that visit.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is very affordable. It is designed for rural students with meagre resources. The total fees for the M.Sc. degree is just about 1,600 rupees. This is very helpful for students from the oorer sections like me.
Campus Life
There are different extracurricular activities such as sports or other technical and cultural events activities. There are different laboratories too. Workshop and seminars are held occassionally. The gender ratio is skewed towards male students, but there is no discrimination.
Admission
The minimum qualifying requirement is to have graduated with a bachelor's degree in a related discipline. The college holds an entrance examination, based on which they select students. The college is affiliated to a state university, and I heard good things from seniors. That prompted me to apply here, and take admission.
Faculty
The faculty members are adequately qualified. Classes are regularly held, and they try and make us understand all the topics. They have their different ways of teaching, and they did a decent job of teaching us some difficult topics.
