Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was very good. The duration of the course was 2 years. The curriculum deals with analysis, testing, researching of drugs for the disease which was caused by the human body. Classroom teaching, laboratory work are the part of curriculum. The Institute conducts Internal Assessment and final examination in each semester.
Placement Experience
The placement and job opportunities was very good in our college. The college has a well established training and placement cell for providing best job opportunities to its students. Many pharmaceutical firms and companies like NOVARTIS, USP, CIPLA, GLENMARK etc come to our college every year for campus recruitment. They offered a minimum package of 3.5 lakh per annum and maximum salary package of 6 lakh annually.
College Events
Our college celebrates and organizes various occasions and events like Dussehra, Holi, Eid, Republic Day, Independence day, Ambedkar jayanti, National Voter's Day, National unity Day, Global Bio-India Road show, world pharmacist Day etc. Participation of both teachers and students was very good in our college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees was little expensive but its worthy. The total fees of the two years course was around 1,90000 lakh rupees. At the time of admission, i paid around 1,10000 lakh rupees. In the second year, i paid around 80000 rupees. The fees was difficult to pay for the students who were economically poor.
Campus Life
The institute excelled not only in academic activities but also gives importance in its extra curricular activities. On the sports day of the institute, many indoor and outdoor games like ludo, carrom, table tennis, basketball, volleyball, cricket are organized. The institute organizes its Annual function every year in which many cultural and literary activities were organized.
Admission
The admission process in our college was based on marks obtained in bachelor degree and on the entrance examination. To get admission in this course, students need to qualify their NIPER Joint Entrance Examination. The minimum criteria was at least 60 percent of marks in Bachelor degree of pharmacy from a recognised university. The final selection was done through counselling which was based on the marks obtained in the Entrance examination.
Faculty
All teachers are highly qualified and experienced in their own fields. Most of the senior teachers have many years of experience in their respective subjects. Their teaching skills were very excellent. Teachers are very admirable for the students.
