My days at MPMSU

The course is structured to arouse interest in the subject matter and imbibe a sense of the fact that each step and detail is necessary while handling patients and all the stuff in a hospital that depends on the nurses.

Placements are okay. Many get jobs, although it's nothing spectacular. We get to do internships as well, at reputed hospitals which gives requisite experience to deal with the real-life events. I can say my experience has been crucial at my job.

The fee structure for the undergraduate nursing program is quite feasible for the general public. At the time of admission, the fee had seemes quite affordable, but after becominga student and completing all years of my degree, I realised that it was more feasible than I initially thought, with all the good infrastructure.

There are many different extra-curricular activities to do in the campus, like sports, cultural activities. There are quality laboratories, and a well-stacked library as well. The gender ratio is healthy, there is no obvious discrimination on any basis. Workshops and visits are held regularly to help us develop our skills.

I gave the MP DMAT examination, which is the Madhya Pradesh Dental/Medical Association Test, for admission into Nursing, Dental and related programs. Based on the scores of that exam, and the 10+2 results, I was selected. I had planned on pursuing Nursing, and I chose MPMSU because it is known to be one of the better universities for these courses.

The faculty are experienced and qualified, and they know how to make us understand the topics properly. They take time to listen to queries and are overall very supportive. When required, they do take a sterner approach as well, so we have a balanced teaching.
