Arpit Shrivastava's Review On Amity University, Gwalior

Amity have there own entrance examination so I attempted that and I preferred this college over others because it is a largest chain of colleges in India with very good infrastructure and placement records. They have campuses in abroad also and offers study from there also. If you are not able to qualify for IIT/NIT then I would strongly recommend you to take admission in this college.

I am pursuing b.tech from mechanical stream. All other colleges generally have mechanical branch only but this college have mechanical and automation branch . they keep updating their course curriculum as well. Most of the faculties are PhD holders with lots of knowledge.

This college has 2 internship programmes and both are of 2 months duration. My first internship was from Crompton graves ltd motors manufacturing division and it was fantastic to learn about the manufacturing and working of motors practically while my 2nd internship was from rail spring karkhana sithouli , there I learnt about the manufacturing of helical springs used in railway engines and coaches.

The placements of this colleges is very good as it is chain of colleges in India so they are able to bring most of companies at one place and inviting all campuses students at one place as well.Companies which I have seen so far are ford 5.5LPA, WIPRO 3.3LPA, HYUNDAI , QA INFOTECH, igate 3.2LPA , XL DYNAMICS, ZYCUS 5.7LPA , NIIT TECH, AND VARIOUS OTHER

The hostels are pretty good as we all know amity is world class in infrastructure as it is an MNC. The hostel fee in Gwalior campus is 40KPA and room is shared among 2. There is a separate portions of 3 rooms each with a common space like hall so it is kind of 3bhk flat. The food is not so good but yes it is pocket friendly around Rs 40 per time.

There is 100% scholarship for all students who got above 93% in 12th while 50% scholar for those who got above 88% and 25% for all those who got above 70%. Student have to maintain same in their B.tech or course to continue scholarship. Amity has tie up axis so it is easy to get loan from there.

Campus life at amity is awesome. You are surely gonna miss this life for your whole life. Gender ratio is equal both girls and boys are pretty much interested in taking admission in amity . There are various extraco activities like click o mania, cinema , sanghatan ,blood donation camps, robotic and other workshops and various other activities.

The alumni network is very very good as it have various campuses so various actors like himansh kohli and models like parth kaila and various other belongs to amity. Amity has huge no. of alumni you can search for that.
