A dream come true

The duration of my course is 3 years and exams are taken both Semesterly and Annually. The curriculum involves practical projects like field work and social work which measures our aptitude and desire and helps us widen our knowledge.

The college aims to prepare us for the outside world through excellent academic and empirical learning. Every year our college invites top companies for recruitment purpose. Some of which are Research institutes, Social Corporate Companies, NGOs and renowned Universities. However, there are several other off-campus opportunities and internships.

At IGIDR we celebrate many festivals and enjoy some fun events and seminars every month which provided us with opportunities to build our social life. Also, there are inter-college sports competition and workshops where we have no academic excursions.

The fees per semester is ?32000. The fees are reasonable and not expensive, for all students as no one ever complains. Also, there is no shortcut available here to get admitted, you need to complete the whole admission process.

Indoor and Outdoor sports are available here. There are separate departments for each activity. Many activity sessions are conducted to put our theoretical knowledge into practical sessions. Apart from that, the most interesting aspect is that you will never feel away from home.

As a student, I was always interested in a subject like social justice and reforms, Political economics etc. All of them are now serving as my base of PhD in Development Studies. For this course, you need to have a masters degree with a GPA of at least 3.5. After that, you need to clear the Research aptitude test provided by the institute. Your performance on the latter will decide your future in IGIDR.

All our faculties are highly educated and have obtained a Masters degree in their area of expertise. The quality of education provided here is the best. They make a comfortable environment for us to solve any queries or problems and are friendly in nature.
