Course Curriculum Overview

This course contains 8 semesters in 4 years. First-year is mainly for understanding engineering basics like mechanics, physics, maths, basic mechanical engineering, computer science etc. In the final year, we have to submit a project file. This course is best for higher studies and has a lot of practical interest as well as research too.

Placement Experience

4.5

The college conduct placement drives and job fests to ensure high placements every year. Our college has more than 100,000+ placements today's date with over 400 companies taking part in it. The overall experience is really nice. so we can say the placement rate in my college is 100% which is far better than another college in the city.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees are expensive but worth it. I paid INR 90000/year for my course in B.tech. But the college provides special fees deduction for Jain Minority/SC/ST/OBC Students. Also, the college provides education loans from reputed banks with less interest. Also, scholarships are there for Student From Kashmir, Leh, Ladakh & Kargil with a deduction of 50% of Tuition Fees.

Campus Life

Our college organised yoga event every year. We have seminars to deliver knowledge about online business opportunities and a Two Day International Conference.the University of Technology hosts People Specialist Excellence Awards. This time on Republic Day celebration the college invited Dr. Christopher Nwanoro (Minister-Counselor Political at Nigeria High Commission India) as chief guest.

Admission

In my college, admission process is under merit system and also a candidate has to be Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ subject. also, obtain a minimum of 45% in 10+2 and if he is from a reserved category than 40% is compulsory.

Faculty

4

Mr Prem Surana the director of our college is very respected and experienced. The average age of a teacher is 38-40. So every teacher in the college has at least 12 years of experience. In this regard, I have no word to say how much my faculty is good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I enjoy writing content, The classes held on creative writing helped me understand the importance of language and trained me to write for different formats- including press releases, articles. scripts for radio shows, etc. I gained lot of practical writing knowledge while pursuing the course. Subjects like media laws and development communication were taught further during post-graduation diploma. Prior learning hepled me in retaining the concepts well. The 10 marks unit test, held twice a semester were held for 90 minutes, while semester exams (theory), held for 70 marks were completed in 3 hours. The practicals during semester exams were held for 30 marks, which included assignments or file submission and viva.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum overall offers a balanced mix of theoretical foundations and practical exposure, making it fairly relevant for students aiming to build strong academic knowledge while preparing for real-world scenarios. Below is a detailed breakdown based on various aspects of the curriculum plus Exams are generally conducted at regular intervals, which helps students stay consistent with their studies. The timing of assessments—spanning internal tests, mid-sems, and final exams—ensures that students are evaluated both continuously and comprehensively. However, sometimes exams may feel closely spaced, which can cause stress. A slightly more balanced schedule between consecutive assessments would be helpful

Placements in my collage are not very strong. A few companies visit, but the number is limited and the offer are also not very high . The average package is on the lower side and only a small number of students get placed through the campus. After completing my degree my plans is to continue improving my technical skills and apply for jobs outside the campus where the chances and salary packages are better.
