Course Curriculum Overview
We students need to take eight courses (four compulsory and four optional) in our first year. We need to submit our M.Phil. Dissertation for final completion of the curriculum. The compulsory courses are Microeconomics-I, Macroeconomics-I, Econometrics-I, Energy and Environment-I.
Placement Experience
Placement is amazing in our college, every year almost all the applicants are placed in the best MNC's with attractive packages. Summer internship is mandatory for each of us to enhance our basic knowledge in our practical learnings.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee for my curriculum was around Rs.63,000-Rs.64,000 inn aggregate. Our college have very minimum charges for almost all of its courses, our college also offers scholarships which is a monthly stipend of Rs.25,000 in the first two years.
Fees and Financial Aid
Needy Students in M.phil receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 25,000/- in the first two years. Those students, who fulfil the terms and conditions for Ph.D. registration receive a monthly stipend of Rs.35,000/- after Ph. D. registration in the third year.
Campus Life
We have various workshops where we can carry out our research work at advance level, we are provided with guidance which also help us to reach at better level, various presentation and conference are conducted and arranged by the college.
Admission
I applied for this college from their official website, i had to pay the application fee via online mode available in the college portal. Based on my merit in the entrance exam followed by personal counselling i was allotted this curriculum.
Faculty
We have both permanent and guest lecturers who usually visits our campus for delivering exceptional knowledge regarding our theory based learning, and to improve our research in development studies. In one word they are amazing.
