Review on Infrastructure, Academics and Placement

The positive thing about college is teaching methods. Learning resources, academic advising, experiential learning, ICT enabled teaching is provided by teachers to help students. My experience of teachers is so good from here.

B. Tech is a technical course. So the working day and exams are little hectic. But in mid of semesters college organizes a industrial visits for students. These is the most interesting and enjoying part of being student of B.Tech. The academic year is of 2 semesters with final exams in month of May and December. Many academicians from institution including university of Cambridge, London school etc visit our campus to interact with students. Students are also provided with opportunities for internship, on campus jobs and research opportunities.

As I am in 3rd year yet. So don't know much about placement but ya I can help you little bit as I know which companies visits our colleges. So according to senior batchmates the highest salary package offered is 15 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies like ICICI bank, Infosys, TCS, Vivo, NIT gurgaon etc visit our campus for placements. About 50 percent students got a chance for internship in MNCs. Overall the placement in our college depends on your academic performance and communication skills. If one have these qualities he or she will have a higher chance in getting selected with highest package.

In our college various events are celebrated. Our College also organises a sports day, college fest, alumni meet every year. Carrer fair is organized every year. Many students participated in fair. Many mncs and good companies participated in fair and last year students can get a chance to apply for that particular job. Students from other colleges also apply for same. Various webinar, guest lectures by industry expert for different courses organized by college.

The fees is 3,44,000 quite higher but it's worth. If you compare our college from other private colleges you will find the fees is feasible. As our college gives placement in higher companies and the faculties are also well qualified so according to that fees is not expensive. One can pay 22,000 per semester for B. Tech course. There are various scholarships programmes by college. Students having financial problems can opt for scholarships.

There are no. of scholarships offered by our college. The best scholarship according to me is - the meritorious students will be given fee concession at the time of admission, on the basis of their marks in the qualifying examination as per the criteria. And there are other lots of scholarships offered by college for meritorious and talented students. As per my thinking the fees is not too expensive and there are lots of scholarships also offered by college. So there is no need of taking loan for education. Well one can take loan from State Bank of India local branch.

The extracurricular activities like sports, Olympiads, quiz, webinars, dance competition organized by college to entertain students. There are many clubs made by college for personality developed of students includes sports, art, theatre, maths clubs and much more.

There are two separate hostels for boys and girls. The infrastructure of both hostels are more than average. 24 hour electricity and water ( cold water in summer) is provided to students. Food provided by Hostel mess is in hygienic condition and tested. Good medical facilities is provided by college. If student faces any difficult situation he or she can take help from warden. Overall hostel facilities are more than average.

B. Tech is a good course and has great career opportunities. It is a 4 year long undergraduate level program. I choose B.tech because I have a great interest in engineering and I always want to become a software engineer. And B tech is enough to get a high paid secured jobs in government as well as in private sectors. In our college 75% admissions is done on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination well other 25% admissions is done on the basis of JEE main score. I got admission in this college by qualifying examination.

Teachers are in our college are very kind and supportive. They help weak students by giving extra time and make their doubt clear. All faculty members are well experienced and skilled in particular subject. In our course B. Tech mostly students get problem in starting as the course is technical. Teachers are always there to support and mentor them. Faculties here are fun loving. They taught everything with fun and with practical examples.
