Can a candidate apply for more than one course?

Yes, a candidate can apply to more than one Subject/ Course which can be done by filling a separate admission form available on a payment of Rs. 100/-.

Do all candidates need to appear for the entrance test for admission to PhD program?

The following categories of students may be exempted from taking the test:Those who have qualified UGC- CSIR NET (JRF)/ NET/ SLET (Punjab state)/ GATE examination.Holders of teacher fellowships.The direct awardees of Fellowships from Government Agencies like DBT/ DST/ ICMR/ ICAR/ INSPIRE/ RGNF/ MANF. However, students appointed in the projects which are sponsored by above agencies are not exempted from Entrance Test).Foreign students which have been sponsored by Government of India Agencies like ICCR, Ministry of HRD etc and those foreign students who have been sponsored by their respective Governments/ Embassies.Other foreign students residing outside India (Foreign Passport Holders) wishing to seek admission directly without any sponsorship.

What is the structure of the Admission Test for PhD?

The test will consist of two papers. Each paper shall be of 75 minutes duration.Paper-I- This shall be common for all subjects and will consist of 60 objective type multiple choice questions. The topics shall be General Aptitude, Reasoning, Numerical/ Mental Ability, Indian Education system, Analytical skills/ Research aptitude, Environment, language Proficiency, Teaching Aptitude and any other topic covered in Paper-I of the UGC-NET.Paper-II- this will consist of 60 objective multiple choice questions and shall be limited to the core areas related to the concerned discipline/ subject.

What are the selection criteria for PhD admission?

There shall be a fixed weight age for different stages/ components of admission:Entrance test Marks- 70%Interview/ Viva- Voce performance- 30%

What is the application and Entrance Test fee for PhD?

The application cum Entrance test fee for PhD is Rs. 3000/-.

I like education system here.Notes are timely provided.
After seeing my department,all faculty members and head if the university are damn good because all are helpful for me.They give their best for the student.

Dislikes

I really dislike their food corner.Canteen is not really that good i want .
As i have to up down daily from my village so the auto, rickshaws i needed are not available here from my side .If available then i have to wait at least half an hour for other passenger 🫠.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As firstly they give us only one hour for our monthly tests.But this was difficult for us to complete our paper in just 1 hour because we are math students so sometimes calculations are big.But now its fine .

The labs facility is good and have all the required equipments
Staff is very cooperative and will tackle your problems easily
All the facilities of lift and shop and canteen is there for student

I personally like staff of the department in this university
Scholarship facility is very good and helpful
Library is good and have almost every book

Dislikes

I hate the canteen as it is having very bad quality food
Sometime lift is not working that is the worst part
Campus is very small and infrastructure is not too good

Admission:

No there are no bad comments for the institute. Overall is good. And with God's grace, I have been selected on the basis of the Merit list. Although after selection I gave an interview which contained a very good level of question.
