Course Curriculum Overview
The course for M.Sc is 2 years with a total of 4 semesters. Our credits are calculated from class tests, end Sems, and internals. The entire syllabus is quite similar to other universities, properly structured with a focus on research and practical work.
Placement Experience
The placement scenario is quite good with around 45-48% of the batch getting placed. The average package offered last year was 1.8Lakh Rs. This is quite good for a fresher, as the salary will increase with experience. Few students earned internships from good food companies on quality control line.
Fee Structure And Facilities
I have to pay around 23,000 Rs per year. This is quite matching with other universities, maybe a few bucks lower. These fees will cover your tuition, admission with all amenities like wifi, labs, library, etc. It is quite feasible.
Campus Life
Labs are very important where we usually work on fertilizers and focus on acheiving a greater accuracy on quality checking process. One can find students from different parts of society, so there is a good diversity in culture. We celebrate all festivals. We play a lot of sports and go for trips on holidays.
Admission
The admission process for my branch was via counseling. I had to fill the admission form and wait for my name in shortlist. The eligibilty criteria is around 45% in graduation, so if you have you can apply for it. The entire process is very simple as I had experience during my B.Sc admissions.
Faculty
My branch faculty members are great. Broadminded and open to all ideas. All are highly educated with great experience in teaching and mentorship. Occasionally, seminars and guest lectures are held which are quite good.
