Agriculture university

Being residential campus, seniors and juniors are stay to gather in common hostels, still ragging is not done, hostel mess and canteen is not good, students have to go out of campus for quality food and breakfast. College facilities are good education of the college is excellent. And surrounding of college is very pleasing.

There are avg. 7 to 8 course in each semester like agrimony, soil science, entomology, horticulture, remote sensing, statistics and Agri botany. Practical are very interesting as professors are teaching on actual field situation on horticulture or agronomy farm, where we learn learning by seeing and learning by doing.

The students in the department of agriculture have many placement opportunities. As these days?agriculture is having larger scope for young student. even college help students for their placement in right place.

There are very nominal fees like 7k to 8k for girl student and 12k to boys including hostel charge, because as I said earlier, It is residential college, student must have stay in, campus till he/she is studying.

There are separate sport complex including huge cricket group, college use this ground for helicopter landing also, there are many extracurricular activities in A year like inter college, inter University competition were organised, there is no instance of sexual harassment but student level politics and ragging at some level is there.

Every student gets hostel room being residential college, there 3 students in one room for UG course and 1 student per room for PG student, every room has one cupboard, table, coat and chair per student,24/7 water and electric supply,3 bathroom per lobby and one lobby has 5 rooms.

You have to apply for common entrance exam after completing your 12th science (biology) group, if you are selected then you are call for admission, where you are asked for campus selection. After selecting your campus, you have to pay the first semester fees and you admission is confirmed.

There very experienced faculty who having extensive knowledge in the field of Agri research and teaching and most important they having high vintage professors, we have maximum faculty who is having PhD degree and in the rank of assistant professor to professor, except few, every faculty is good.
