The aviation university is a place where you can learn the art of flying as well as enjoy the life at campus. You will surely miss all the activities and fun you had in the campus once you step out from the university. It's not just a college but also a ground to fly high as a pilot.

The curriculum is based on mostly a practical training as we need various kinds of training. They include air navigation, flight planning, aviation meteorology, air frames & engines, air regulation, RTR cockpit resource management and air films. We have ground training, guest lectures and also computer based trainings. The learning is really so lively over here. Those who have a great passion towards aviation system will enjoy their life at IGRUA.

Actually the institute is mainly focused on giving a qualified training rather than getting a job offer. But in the airlines department, it is the highly ranked students of IGRUA being placed. The average percentage of the IGRUA students in airlines is about 75%.

The fees will be around 50lakhs as it closes various training programs. I don't think that this is so high to learn aviation from an institute like this. All these expenditures will be for all the ground training as well as computer based training programs.

The university favours the students to have extra curricular activities and cultural fests as well. We have football ground, basketball court, volleyball court, indoor badminton and squash court. To spend the leisure time, we have an air-conditioned TV room and also a room for music lovers with all musical instruments. Our auditorium hosts "The sector X party" with DJ and jamming sessions every Sunday. We also watch live cricket matches in that auditorium. Our cultural fest "Full Throttle" is the most expected fest every year where all the cadets exhibit their talents.

Yes, we have separate hostel for both boys and girls. To get rooms we have to contact student counsellor. The rooms will be on twin sharing basis. The subsidy will be ?.1,500/- per month. The hostel is clean and well equipped. The food prepared is so healthy and we have that delicious meal at an air-conditioned dining hall. We have separate table tennis court at both hostels. We also have a shopping complex and we can celebrate some small parties by a cake cutting over there.

We have an alumni group where all the passed out cadets are requested to register and share their present position and their experiences with the other cadets. It's like a family bonding with everyone in IGRUA.

I applied for a course on B.Sc., Aviation into the IGRUA. This course is actually opted from Chatrapati Saju ji Maharaj University. I applied through their online application and it is a must to upload the required documents and pay the application fee for the confirmation of application form. Then there will be online written test, a general interview, pilot aptitude test and a final interview to evaluate the scores. The highly scored students will be selected into the 3 years degree program.

The faculty are great pilots with a high experimental knowledge and experience on aviation. They are not just masters of an air flight but also qualified learners. They mould all the students into successful pilots after the course completion.
