Remarks

Most colleges are unable the balance the amount of pressure that they put on the children and forget that it is necessary that the students have a social life as well. But here in our college they are very well-balanced and do not give unnecessary pressure on the students.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course for MBA in the college is for two years and have all the subjects that you would find in any other MBA degree of other colleges. What is different in this college is that they do not just focus in the course work but also helps students get an idea of the real scenario through practical teaching and skill enhancement.

Placement Experience

5

After taking admission to the course of MBA the one thing I wanted to know about was whether the college has placement cell where students can register to sit for placements after their course and the college did have a placement cell which put all of my worries to rest.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee for the first year was Rs. 13,500 and the second year was Rs. 12,200. It can be said from this that the fee structure was feasible since the total fee was only Rs. 25,700 which was affordable by the students. Other colleges had much expensive fee structures which can be a problem for many students.

Campus Life

5

There are different kinds of sports and events that are held in the college and each one of them is equally fun. Whether we are personally taking part in this or are just a spectator you will be very excited in both ways since these events are very well organized.

Admission

The admission to Alagappa University was done through an entrance test of CAT since this was the test that every student applying for the MBA degree had to take, the results of which would be considered to grant admission to the college.

Faculty

5

The faculties have their own method of teaching and they are different from each other. While some teachers focus on the theoretical aspects of the course, some tend to have a more practical approach towards their subject, both of which are equally effective.

Placement Experience:

From the last previous semester, students can avail themselves of campus interviews. Students who have Harriers are not given opportunities because it's in the companies criteria. Cognizant, Zoho, Infosys, Wipro. Every year at least 10 students get selected. Average is 10,000-15,000 per month 10-15% of students getting placed. I plan to study for competitive exams like UPSC.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are decent, especially when one talks about its authenticity and compares it to a lot of colleges in the country. We are associated with some good names like EY, Asian Paints, SBI, Vedanta, etc. The mean and median hover around 8.5 - 9.5 LPA mark. Last Highest: 15 LPA and Lowest: 5.5 - 6lpa. Roles offered may not be the best, but they are decent too.
