I did not apply anywhere before Sri Sathya Sai institute of higher learning because as I mentioned before that my mother was an ex student so it was always decided that I would study there. The admission process is based on merit. There are basically three rounds where in the first round you get a calling letter for the written test, in the second round you appear for the test and when you clear the test you have to clear the interview round in the last round. I had to fill the application form and then after a month or so there was a written examination at Puttaparthi, Andhrapradesh during the month of April. The next morning at 5 am results of the written examination was declared. Then that day itself there was a interview. After a week the final list of selected candidates was published online in the college website. For my course one has to get 55% marks in his/her intermediate level. The eligibility criteria are one should have a minimum of 50% equivalent percentage in their 12th or intermediate board exams. The applications are released every year on: sssihl.edu.in There are no reservations. SSSIHL conducts its entrance exam and the selection process is highly confidential and fair. The exam will be held offline (in case the pandemic ends) in Puttaparthi. Recommendations are not applicable, although being related to the alumni of the campus shows a slight advantage. The only improvement I would suggest is that the exam should be conducted online. However writing the exam offline and getting the feel of the campus, getting to know its cultural and discipline values give us a huge positive opinion about the campus....Read More

The atmosphere is best suited for studies. You have to go through an entrance exam after which there is an interview round and then you get selected (Imagining that you keep clearing all the rounds). I chose this college above all others because I have always wanted myslef to study in such a pious and reputed institution as SSSIHL. This college has integrated value system which is a very unique feature of this institution. The admission process starts right from the start of the year i.e. Jan. itself. You could either apply offline or fill the form online on its website and then later forward the application form alomg with relevant documents to the head office. Exam date is mentioned on the prospectus itself. We need to pass the written test which is very descriptive and also MCQ based. After having clear the test, we need to clear the interview as well. This institution gives opportunity for the students to bring out the best from within. It not only cares about thw education part but also the educare part....Read More
