My experience at ISBM Ahmedabad.

The college is a blessing for working professionals like me. We need to do MBA to progress our career but at the same time we cannot leave our job because it takes care of our needs. This is where distance MBA helps and not many colleges compare to ISBM in this field.

The course curriculum was designed to meet the needs of a working professional. The syllabus was not very vast and focused on the key aspects that are required by an individual in management field. Few hours of study every day for 4-5 days a week was enough.

The placement is very decent in our college. All the assistance is provided to students. Companies like Bajaj Allianz, Air Sahara, BPL mobile visited our college for placement. All the required training is given so that the student are employable.

The total fees to be paid is Rs 49,900 only. This is very feasible for a distance learning course. Only tution fees is charged as other charges are not applicable in a distance learning course like this.

Since this was a distance learning course, we did not get to meet together in college for involving in extra curricular activities. Though all the students and members of the faculty were very well connected virtually.

The admission was based on merit. All the applicants were shortlisted based on thier marks in graduation. Since, this was a distance learning course, entry was not as tough. I wanted to do an MBA but distance education was my choice since I was working.

Since, this was a distance education course, we did not interact face to face with the faculty members but they were always available for help when we needed them. All the assistance regarding clearing doubts was provided to us.
