Remarks

the college fee structure is bit on the higher side i.e a bit expensive, i feel. the fees are Rs 90,000 per annum which makes it to Rs 450,000 on total for a period o five years which is not very economical or affordable.

Course Curriculum Overview

exam structure & course curriculum is hectic.there are lot of things that happen at the same time such as labs & internals, weekly tests & projects which overlap many a times. and course completion also becomes a task sometimes. so its mostly hectic.

Placement Experience

the institute offers placement assistance to the students for seeking the best job in the industry.along with that , the college also provide training & career guidance services to shape the career of students by developing their personalities.

Admission

i got admission in this college through my NEET score. NEET is conducted in the month of may and the results are out by mid June. i scored 220 in NEET and applied for counselling process. then i got this college in my counselling & went ahead for the admission.

Faculty

there are many experienced professors . most of the faculty members of our college have got a doctorate degree & have minimum 10 years of teaching experience & they are very co-operative to students who have the ability to learn & invent new things & they always trying to teach new procedures & tricks to students for all the subjects & labs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is designed to teach the basic and fundamental subjects of computer science to students. In each subject, the difficulty level is below moderate. There are some subjects which meet the industry standards and prepare students for jobs in market. But many subjects are out-dated and their syllabus is not upto standard mark of industry requirements. There is an urgent need to update the syllabus and make it more industry demands-oriented. The teaching methods used are good but some updates can make them more better. Less focus is given on practical knowledge and labs. In each semester, you will have sessional exams two times for all 5 subjects. In each year, there are two semesters and in each semester you will havee final exams in the month of December and May.

Placement Experience:

Here, the students of the final year are eligible for placements in there respective departments. Basicly many companies visit my college surroundings us which include Wipro, infosis, solatier etc. At least 50 companies visit my college. The highest placement was 22 lpa at Google ang average package is 10 lpa in solatire and other companies . almost 70 percent students get college placement rest apply for off campus and after sometime they also try to fetch jobs. I maily like corporate a lot , so after completing my degree i want to regain a job in any company in gurgaon.

OPJGU: Not my first choice, but definitely the right one

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is highly relevant and comprehensive, according to me. The core courses that are mandatory for a student to take are highly relevant and necessary in order to develop the relevant skills and knowledge in that specific domain of the field. Electives on the other hand, are a student's choices and may or may not be relevant directly to the course one is studying. The university offers a wide range of electives and the electives are also taught by highly qualified professors across the 12 different schools of JGU. The end semester exams are either of 30 marks or 50 marks, depending on the course. Electives usually have a 30-mark end-of-semester exam for 1.5 hours. The exams are pretty easy and theoretical and contextual, unless the course one has chosen is strictly application-based and demands applications of theoretical frameworks. The core exams in the first and second year are divided across 50 and 30 mark exams and are often for 3 hours. The exams are pretty easy and theoretical except for the practicum courses, which are deeply application-based. The final year has very few core courses which are for 30 marks.
