Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is one of the toughest. A lot of concepts need to be studied. The schedule is very hectic as our classes begin in the morning itself. We need to appear for exams and qualify them. Also, we had to give internal exams and practicals.

Placement Experience

Our college has a full-fledged placement cell which guides the students and also organises workshops and seminars to improve the soft skills. The students of our college get placed in great hospitals like apollo, fortis etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee charges are high. The fee for my course is around 1 lakh rupees for a year. The facilities provided by our college are good but the fee can be afforded by everyone. To help the needy and meritorious students there is a provision of scholarship.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college provides scholarships to the needy and deserving students who belong to the weaker sections of the society. Our college provides a fee concession to such students. There are other scholarships too which are provided by the state and central government.

Campus Life

The college infrastructure is decent and has all the modern basic amenities. To ensure good and effective learning our college has well built and maintained IT infrastructure which consists of modernised computer labs and labs for practicals. The classrooms are well equipped and comfortable. Since our college is also a hospital, the classes are separate from the hospital area so that there is no intervention during the learning process.

Admission

The admission process is based on the merit scored in NEET exam. The application process is online. After filling the form, the students have to attend an online counselling session. After this, the candidates are selected and granted admission.

Faculty

The college faculty is well trained and experienced. The college professors are practising doctors. They teach us in great detail. Their teaching methods are great. They are helpful and friendly to us.

In recent NIRF 2025 data for UG 4-year programs (including B.Tech), 57 out of 80 eligible students were placed with a median salary of ?8.78 LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is designed to teach the basic and fundamental subjects of computer science to students. In each subject, the difficulty level is below moderate. There are some subjects which meet the industry standards and prepare students for jobs in market. But many subjects are out-dated and their syllabus is not upto standard mark of industry requirements. There is an urgent need to update the syllabus and make it more industry demands-oriented. The teaching methods used are good but some updates can make them more better. Less focus is given on practical knowledge and labs. In each semester, you will have sessional exams two times for all 5 subjects. In each year, there are two semesters and in each semester you will havee final exams in the month of December and May.

Placement Experience:

Here, the students of the final year are eligible for placements in there respective departments. Basicly many companies visit my college surroundings us which include Wipro, infosis, solatier etc. At least 50 companies visit my college. The highest placement was 22 lpa at Google ang average package is 10 lpa in solatire and other companies . almost 70 percent students get college placement rest apply for off campus and after sometime they also try to fetch jobs. I maily like corporate a lot , so after completing my degree i want to regain a job in any company in gurgaon.

OPJGU: Not my first choice, but definitely the right one

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is highly relevant and comprehensive, according to me. The core courses that are mandatory for a student to take are highly relevant and necessary in order to develop the relevant skills and knowledge in that specific domain of the field. Electives on the other hand, are a student's choices and may or may not be relevant directly to the course one is studying. The university offers a wide range of electives and the electives are also taught by highly qualified professors across the 12 different schools of JGU. The end semester exams are either of 30 marks or 50 marks, depending on the course. Electives usually have a 30-mark end-of-semester exam for 1.5 hours. The exams are pretty easy and theoretical and contextual, unless the course one has chosen is strictly application-based and demands applications of theoretical frameworks. The core exams in the first and second year are divided across 50 and 30 mark exams and are often for 3 hours. The exams are pretty easy and theoretical except for the practicum courses, which are deeply application-based. The final year has very few core courses which are for 30 marks.
