Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is quite tough as it is concerned with medicine and surgery. There are innumerable aspects which need to be covered. So the course is quite vast. Our schedule remains quite hectic as several lectures have to be taken in a day.

Placement Experience

The college provides placement to its students. After studying for 4 years, it is compulsory for the students to do internships for a year. Our college has tie-ups with popular hospital brands like apollo and fortis.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is quite high but still lower than the one charged by other private medical colleges. The for the MBBS is 1 lakh rupees per year. The entire cost of the course is around 5 lakh rupees. Though it might be affordable for some, it might not be affordable for others. For such students, there is a facility of scholarship.

Campus Life

The infrastructure of our college is such that all the basic amenities are available to us. There is a sports ground within the campus where cricket and football are played. For refreshment, there is a cafeteria where snacks and beverages are served. There is a large auditorium also where cultural and educational programs are held.

Admission

The admission procedure is fairly simple. The admission procedure is based on the scorecard of NEET (national eligibility cum entrance test). The merit scored in this exam is the deciding factor for admission in our college. Thereafter, a counselling session is conducted to shortlist the students for admission.

Faculty

The college faculty consists of practising and retired doctors. Some of them have several years of experience as a medical professional. They teach us with patience and persistence. They are very much older than us so we all respect them a lot.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is designed to teach the basic and fundamental subjects of computer science to students. In each subject, the difficulty level is below moderate. There are some subjects which meet the industry standards and prepare students for jobs in market. But many subjects are out-dated and their syllabus is not upto standard mark of industry requirements. There is an urgent need to update the syllabus and make it more industry demands-oriented. The teaching methods used are good but some updates can make them more better. Less focus is given on practical knowledge and labs. In each semester, you will have sessional exams two times for all 5 subjects. In each year, there are two semesters and in each semester you will havee final exams in the month of December and May.

Placement Experience:

Here, the students of the final year are eligible for placements in there respective departments. Basicly many companies visit my college surroundings us which include Wipro, infosis, solatier etc. At least 50 companies visit my college. The highest placement was 22 lpa at Google ang average package is 10 lpa in solatire and other companies . almost 70 percent students get college placement rest apply for off campus and after sometime they also try to fetch jobs. I maily like corporate a lot , so after completing my degree i want to regain a job in any company in gurgaon.

OPJGU: Not my first choice, but definitely the right one

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is highly relevant and comprehensive, according to me. The core courses that are mandatory for a student to take are highly relevant and necessary in order to develop the relevant skills and knowledge in that specific domain of the field. Electives on the other hand, are a student's choices and may or may not be relevant directly to the course one is studying. The university offers a wide range of electives and the electives are also taught by highly qualified professors across the 12 different schools of JGU. The end semester exams are either of 30 marks or 50 marks, depending on the course. Electives usually have a 30-mark end-of-semester exam for 1.5 hours. The exams are pretty easy and theoretical and contextual, unless the course one has chosen is strictly application-based and demands applications of theoretical frameworks. The core exams in the first and second year are divided across 50 and 30 mark exams and are often for 3 hours. The exams are pretty easy and theoretical except for the practicum courses, which are deeply application-based. The final year has very few core courses which are for 30 marks.
