MBBS life in SMSR

The college has an excellent placement, campus and faculty. It is perfect in every point of view. Everyone must prefer this college for MBBS. If you want to enjoy the MBBS life and to get an excellent knowledge, this college is for you.

The Course duration is 5 and half years. I enjoyed all these years of my MBBS in SMSR a lot. The college has a big campus, large classrooms, 7-8 laboratories with all the equipments and a beautiful atmosphere. College provides all the facilities to the students hence it is well known Institute in Uttar Pradesh.

Placement and job opportunities were also good. Placement cell works a lot to grab different opportunities for students. Internship was must in SMSR. It was mostly in Sharda hospital. About 70% students from our batch placed in reputed hospitals in placement drive.

All the events including festivals were celebrated enthusiastically by the students as well as faculty. College organised different cultures festivals, traditional and western day every year. All the students participated in it. Event was just fabulous experience in SMSR.

The fees structure of the college is quite expensive similar to the other medical colleges. About 14-15 lakhs per year was the fees of the college. Different scholarships were also available for talented and poor students. Installment option to pay the fees is also available.

The extracurricular activities are the backbone of the college. College arranged different Waokshops, guests lectures on medical sciences regularly. Different competitions like debate, researches were also conducted by the college to improve students skills. Sports and other activities were also arranged by the students.

The college had seperate hostel for boys and girls. The rules of the hostel was too strict. The hostel was provided with all the facilities but the hostel fees was just expensive. About 3-4 lakhs per year was the fees of the hostel.

Sharda university,school of medical sciences and research (SMSR) is affiliated to Sharda University. SMSR is also recognized by Medical Council of India (MCI) so it is one the best Institute in Greater Noida. The admission process is depend upon 12 marks and NEET score. I secured good marks in 12th as well as in NEET so I got admission here in first round.

The faculty of the college was just excellent. I shocked by their knowledge and experience. Every faculty had almost 10 years of experience and had a great knowledge of medical sciences. They were too supportive and always available for us to clear our all the doubts.
