I took CAT , the score was 84.33 percentile. I was a mechanical engineer and was looking for opportunities which are sector specific and where i dont have to compete with B.Com or other graduates.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course was a mixture of general MBA where normal subjects of MBA like marketing , finance , accounts and operations are covered and electives were more focused on energy and infrastructure based. Like project finance , oil and gas accounting ,energy trade and risk management .
Internships Opportunities
Intership companies are mostly PSU's and other marketing based companies. There are consulting firms as well but they mostly prefer [revious work ex.
Placement Experience
In terms of placement college is quite average not much high but PSU's do visit college like GAIL,IOCL,BPCL and than there are other IT firms like Infosys,wipro,accenture but no much of big names.
College Events
College do have cultural fest CATALYST a forum for students to demonstrate their leadership and managerial temperament. Apart from that on university level there is FLARE which is the flagship event of PDPU. Also there is PIZZAZZ which is also a cultural plus technical fest.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes most of students do take Loans , scolarship is only for quota students and not for general ones as in my batch but in current seniors. I am not aware of college do provides fees for programs like ERP.
Exam Structure
Exams in SPM happens in like every one and half month as there is trimester system so mid semesters happens .Like in every 40 to 45 days which is something good as well as bad as its hard to learn and deliver that quickly so most of students does end up mugging.
