Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is consist of 8 semesters. The semesters exams and evaluation are conducted by Anna University. Assignments, practical sessions, clubs, projects provided by college for learning of students. There are many industrial visits in top companies like TNSTC, Infosys, Doordarshan Kendra etc by college. It makes us the things practically clear. It gives us expsoure from academic point of view and provide us with lots of topics for research. Exams are hectic because the exam is conducted by university so we have to prepare for almost every topic.
Placement Experience
The placement in our college is very good. Top recuriting companies like ultra violet energy systems, Maxit, Jasmine Infotech, Aagna, mahindra, itcs and much more visit our campus for selecting studnets. Our college has a separate placement and training cell which offers final and pre final year students a Carrer Development program to ready them for corporate world. This cell helps us in developing our presenation, interpersonal, team building skills. Overall the placemet and training provided by our college is more than enough to get selected in top companies.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The college fees is feasible as it is affialted to Anna University. Total fees of is 2.00 lakh for B.E 4 year course. Per year fees is 50,000 which is feasible according to college placements and facilities. Middle class students can easily afford to manage his/her study in this college.
Campus Life
Our college organize more than enough extracurricular activities.It includes sports activities ( organised every year), rangoli, dance , debate competitions. Our college also organised Scamme Expo every year in which many students from other colleges and schools participated. College day and sports day is celebrated every year in month of April. Campus drive for final year students is conducted in the month of feburary.
Hostel Facilities
Our college provides separate hostel facility for boys and girls. All hostel rooms are spacious, adequately ventilated, well maintained and furnished. Free wi-fi with computer room are provided. 24 hour power backup and drinking water is provided by college. With lots of facilties there are also some strict rules for students like all hostellers shall get their attendance recorded in morning and evening and cooking inside the hostel is strictly forbidden etc. In case students fail to do so action will be take against them.
Alumni/Alumna
Some seniors are so good while some are egoistic. Well my overall experience with seniors is so good. They guide me in studies and about shopping areas here. As I am from up so the city was totally new for me.
Admission
Our college is affiliated with Anna University and approved by AICTE. I choose this course because I did my 12th from PCM and i want my future in computer networking and web designing. This course gives great opportunities in software and IT companies.I got admission by clearing H.S.C examination of the State board of high secondary education of Tamil Nadu. One should also get admission by qualifying other Equivalent exam conduted by Anna University. Students should have obtained 50% marks will be selected on the basis of merit ( according to college based on caste). For admission one can contact admission cell in college campus with all needed original documents.
Faculty
Our college has highly qualified and experienced faculties. All teachers are helpful and supportive. Some are little strict too. Extra classes is conduted for weak students. Both theortical and practical knowledge is given by teachers. Teachers also organizes brain activities for studnets to relax or develop them at the same time.
