Being one from the general category it is quite tough to cover the cutoff of the NEET exam. I got 625 marks with a rank of about 10000. There are only about 1 lakh government seats including all the medical courses. Getting admission in a private medical college for a middle class student is not aya all possible. Admission in government medical college can be taken by applying for the NEET exam conducted every year in ye month of may-june. Reservations are available for some categories which is unfair but the system works like this. The difficulty level of the NEEt exam sis decreasing day by day which is even worse because the cut off in increasing to another level which makes it even difficult to get a government medical seat.
