Entrance Preview
I secured top rating in MAT exam, around 90+ percentile. Chose MSRIM, as it was one of the leading colleges in MAT score list, mororever I always wanted to study and work in South of India. Bangalore is certainly my favourite city in India and MSRIM is a brand of its own.
Internships Opportunities
We were not offered internship through college. I worked for Reliance Communication and they offered only transport charges. But some of my classmates were offered stipend which was between 8000 Inr to 12000 Inr.
Placement Experience
80% of our classmates were placed out of strength of 80 people. Mostly banks came along with KPO's, very few FMCG companies came. Highest salary offered was 9 lakhs by a bank which also had several conditions apply. On an average the package offered was 4.5 lakhs .
College Events
We had on annual inter college festival that invited other colleges to participate. A two day long festival, also included cultural and analytical competitions.
Campus Life
My college had a very good mix of male female ratio. Also there was great multicultural diversity so it helped us to understand cultures and working patterns. College faculty used to ensure to bring different ppl together while making working groups. I think that has added to our benefit, especially now that we work in corporates with multicultural diversity.
Alumni/Alumna
This I feel is a weakness of MSRIM. They have not been able to be in good touch with Alumnus. There should be evens to bring them together, share experiences and mingle with fresh batches. It actually helps both ways. We also get to know new trends in market.
Faculty
Very professional, qualified and flexible. They believed in brainstorming sessions, practical interactions, case studies and more friendly approach towards learning.
