The course covers all the important subjects of Pharma field like research and development, prescribing medicine , manufacturing and marketing. The B. Pharm has practical and theory classes. Total academic semester is 8.

Placement Experience

The college does not provide internship or job fairs. But many companies come on their own because of the invitation from the college for recruitment. The college is building a new recruitment department.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is 15,000 per year. For boys the hostel facility is available which is charged separately. Total fees including library and hostel and lab deposits will cost another 5,000. Apart from this only examination fees is collected.

Campus Life

Extra curricular activities happens frequently. Ugadi celebrations, college day, sports, free medical camps and field trips to rural places are conducted. Committee for harassment and ragging is formed.

Admission

B. Pharm admissions are based on the marks scored in Plus 2 with 55% marks in Physics, chemistry and biology or maths. Students will get a notification for interview if they are selected. Candidates should show all the original certificates for validation.

Faculty

The professors carry a wide range of experience in the field of medicine and teaching. They helps us in understanding the criticality of dosages of medicine in the hospital. Practical sessions conducted by them helps us to get the insight of medicine should be provided to patients.

Nitte: My review on my college

Placement Experience:

Most of the students get placed from the campus placements. Students get eligible for campus placements from the fifth semester. Companies like HP, Infosys, Wipro come for recruiting and make offers from 3L per annum to 30 L per annum. Around 70 percent of the students get placed through campus placement. I plan on working for a dream company after completing my degree.

About my college

Placement Experience:

After completion of the course students are divided to teachers and the food industries are come to college and interview us and the student is eligible they can select. Some standard food related companies are visited nestle, ITC mysore , sulawines and some other companies also. The CGPA of the students is 7.5 or more is good below this also get selected but more than 7.5 is good. My plan is after completion of course then do work and get some experience in the industries and some of the time I am going to select a product and launch it over the world.

Presidency University offers 95% placements for the students of different departments. They offer placements for all different departments. The placements starts from 1st semester it self. Many top companies come to presidency University like the big 4 companies, Deloitte, long, ey, and pwc. Apart from these we also have many other top mnc companies visiting our college for the placements.

Placement Experience:

Most of the students after completing four years, continue to stay here to get Masters degree after one more year and pursue PhD from world renowned institutions. There will be no intern options

For Bachelor in Pharmacy, admission is done on the basis of the rank obtained from Kcet (Karnataka CET) exam. And if the seats were left then those seats will be distributed on the basis of PU marks. For diploma in pharmacy also the seats are given on the basis of Kcet and merit. I chose this college over many other colleges because its the one and only government college of pharmacy in Karnataka. And knowledge can be acquired much because of strict examinations and faculty. Goods- there's a good environment with friends and all for studies and the certificate from government college is more valuable for placements and all. Bads- you cannot enjoy college life much as compared to private colleges (one can understand how GOVERNMENT colleges will be).
