Remarks

For studying dentistry, a government college is always the first choice. This is one of the top colleges for dentistry. And for me,it was in my hometown so i choose to pursue BDS from this college. Admission process-- Firstly we have to appear in the NEET exam. After qualifying the exam, we should apply for the counselling . And the seats are allotted on merit basis. Documents required are 10th mark sheet,12th mark-sheet, NEET admit card, NEET result, character certificate, migration certificate.

Treating people gives immense pleasure. So, i choose to become a dentist. All the teachers are well qualified. And you can learn a lot from them. Exams are conducted once a year and the difficulty level is moderate. If you study, you can pass the exams easily.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 52070 per year

Internships Opportunities

There is stipend of 17000 per month given in internship. During internship, you have the opportunity of working in different dental departments and learn a lot of new skills as dentistry is a skill based profession.

Placement Experience

After internship we have the various options like opening our clinic, preparing for PG or to apply for job at govt or private clinics. The govt jobs are very few.

Fees and Financial Aid

College fees is approx 52070 per year. Apart from that if you stay in hostel, hostel fees is approx 23000 per year. In your internship after final year, you will get a stipend of approx 17000 per month.

Campus Life

Campus life is full of fun and to learn many new things. The annual fest of college is ARMSCON . Various workshops, cultural events etc are organized in the fest. And students from different college come to participate in this.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel rooms are not so good as the hostel is old. You are provided a bed, table,chair, ceiling fan. The food quality of mess is fine. Every month you have to give mess charges which are according to the days you eat in mess. And it comes around 2000-3000.

Hostel Fee: INR 23050 per year

Interview Experience

You have to give a national level exam called NEET (National eligibility entrance test). Seats in different college are allotted on the basis of merit. There are different coaching institute from where you can prepare for NEET .

Course Curriculum Overview:

Dentistry is more often chosen course after mbbs As it was World wide accepted degree So you can go anywhere in other countries after bds and you will get good salary minimum 75lakh to maximum 3 crore and if you have ability to setup clinic so you can easily get up upto 1 lakh per month easily

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are some subject which are going to be common with mbbs physiology and anatomy and biochemistry and also they are most difficult in whole course. The timing of classes are 8.10am to 3.40 pm.(extendable). You get a daily practical period of any one subject. You get 3 to 4 assignment every week and given time for each assignment is 1 week.

Is pgids Rohtak good for bds ?

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am someone who loves medicine and dentistry is art combined with medicine . We study all the medical subjects including anatomy , physio , briochem , dental materials etc . We have postings and practice on patients that develop our skills for future practice . The exams are moderate , you can get good marks if you are consistent and listen properly in class .

Pros/Cons of choosing the college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose Bds as there ar no emergency patients as compared to MBBS. If you can establish your own clinic you can earn a handsome money. You can be your own boss. The student ratio is also very good in our college. The faculties are very much educated and supportive. Though the studies are little hard still you can pass exams easily if you study hard. The exams are on time and the teacher will guide you very well for exams.

Placement Experience:

I am a BDS student so for us right after finishing our BDS we are eligible to practice ourselves. Now it is on you whether to go for MDS or not, or whether to move abroad for your practice, we have our internships in the 5th year where we are taught how to deal with patients in real life so our journey starts right from our internships, a lot of fresh Doctors who have passed out from this college are doing great in life. I have a clear set of thoughts in chronological sequence as to this would be my way forward which includes doing MDS and going for opening my own clinic after which I shall move abroad for my practice.

Firstly this college is well maintained and patient flow is very good as compare to other dental colleges of Haryana,I also got offer from Swami Devi dyal dyal dental college punchkula and yamuna dental college, yamunanagar and pdm dental college bhardugrah etc they are giving me very huge scholarship but at there patient flow is not good for practice as dentistry is degree of practice you have to chose that college where patient flow is good or decent...Read More

I applied to all the government medical colleges of Haryana, chose this college because of the high reputation, abundant opd and decades old legacy! It is undisputed that pgims is the best college of haryana , however one can choose newer colleges for better infrastructure. Admission into the college is based on the neet ug counseling, both state and aiq Neet is the only acceptable exam Cutoff varies yearly, however upto 9k air in state quota and 3k in aiq can get you into this college.
