I chose through counselling of anna university. I scored 1074 out of 1200 cut off 185. Chose Mechanical engineering since the college is the best for the course in our region.
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum was a normal one. Not much to share. its as same as in every college affiliated to anna university. Mechanical engineering in our college is the best course, since the lab facilities are top notch.
Internships Opportunities
I did my college internship in ashok leyland in hosur of tamilnadu district, stipend was not that great. But the knowledge we got as a intern is as good as where we can get anywhere.
Placement Experience
Placements and job opportunities in our college was not the greatest one. We had to pass the course, come out of the college to find a job. But the other departments got good jobs in some reputed companies such as hp, hcl and infosys.
College Events
We conducted one of the best technical symposiums in our college. Mass 2012 we conducted national level seminar on welding and had a huge response for that from all over the country. We conducted the first remote car racing in that symposium.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is very much feasible . Not expensive for sure. affordable for many. I had to pay 40k per year. I think thats very much affordable. also its value for money.
Fees and Financial Aid
Loan facility was offered by the college if students cant afford the fees. Scholarship was also provided for the brighter ones.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network is not that great. we were unable to meet our old friends or our seniors after passing out. We ourselves though took steps to form a alumni community but in vain.
Faculty
Faculty were friendly. Had a good knowledge in their respective field of study. So it was great to move with them, discuss about the study and share our grievances if we had any and also to get what they knew about the subject out of syllabus.
