Joshna's Review On Institute Of Public Enterprise - [IPE], Hyderabad

This is a good management college but the college management is not so good.

I appeared for CAT and scored 77 percentile.i choose this college because of the eminent college and it is placed with in the city one more advantage of this college, this college provides all the basic specializations, which is not so common in other colleges.

Our college provides all the basic specializations like marketing, finance, operations, systems, human resource, retail marketing, banking insurance and finance, regular pgdm, and executive pgdm we either choose any 2 specializations of these or we can opt for core marketing or core human resource.

It gives an opportunity to check out the corporate world, before we select our path to enter into it though our college help in getting an internship is very minimal, it will tell us the importance of doing an internship.

Placement and job opportunity are very less they are very limited companies visit our campus every year, and the second point to be noted is that the average package lies between the 4 - 4.5 L per annum companies goes like this:deloitte TCS trinity ITC naunce transcriptions ideaAirtel vodafone.

We celebrate a lot, a lot means really a lot our college functions only for 5 days a week, so every weekend some or the group will conduct some event and the best part is, if some times we get bore of having our mess food, we ourselves have some stals and enjoy the food.

Fee structure is really a big burden for many of the students studying here, if some one joins this college by having a loan then with this average package it takes at-least 2 and half years to re-pay the loan so, i seriously suggest, those who can't afford it, please search any other alternative.

But the only thing is we have to score 80% of marks and also should maintain 85 % of attendance.

Campus life is so nice, if you make it nice. we have students from different regions of India, yearly once, students conduct an workshop on the economic students and explain different unknown topics to each other, this is a kind of group activity coming to the economic status of the students and their backgrounds we have a mix of high class and also middle class people.

My rating for my campus hostel would be .95/1, we can opt for single occupancy which cost you around 1.5 L per year, or we can choose double occupancy which cost you around 1L per year we have facilities like A/c rooms, house keeping service, one food kisoks and water chillers etc.

Alumni network is too vast almost all of the know people are in the top positions but this will not give any added advantage to the students.

Exam structure is pretty hard very less time is given for examinations and the worst part is schedule is released only before 4-5 days before the examination we are evaluated based on internal examination which includes class room participation, assignments etc and external examination which is mostly theoretical.

Faculty is the best phase of this college, they are just awesome, though we have some dum faculty, many are just the best people to hang out.for example their is a faculty called Mr. Narendranath menon, he is just so awesome that, we just love to listen to his classes., he does not teach only subject but also many basic life skills which will make you ready to start your life on your own.
