Entrance Preview

CAT - I scored 96.23% percentile. IMT Nagpur had good infrastructure, good faculty and in-house hostel.

Internships Opportunities

Big companies like Bajaj allianz, pepsi, Hindustan lever etc. came for internship. Internship was different in different company. My company Bajaj alliance General insurance offered us Rs. 7500 As stipend.

Placement Experience

Out of 180, 170 were placed. Imrb about 7 lakhsI, cici Lombard about 5 lakhs, Magma Fincorp about 4 lakhs, TCS about 5 lakhs, Airtel about 5 lakhs, Berger about 5 lakhs, Asian Paint about 5 lakhs, HDFC BANK about 4.5 lakhs.

College Events

Milestone 35 yearly programme. Almost all B school use to participate in this yearly event. Raanbhoomi sports event was the other big events where participation use to come from many B school.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure was 5 lakhs. Going by the facility, education and placement it was feasible. We had start of the art infrastructure, good hostel, good faculty.

Fees and Financial Aid

There were some scholarship but I was not aware of any loan facility. I have never availed any loan from the college.

Campus Life

70% boys 30% girls, very often we had hostel parties. We had team for looking after all the different activities. Marketing, finance, sports, mess etc. We had shops run internally by the students.

Alumni/Alumna

Our interaction with seniors were awesome. Our senior were very supportive and they guided us superbly. Since our college was only 3 year old therefore alumni network was limited.

Faculty

There were some in-house faculty and some were visiting faculty. All the faculty were quite experienced and good in teaching. Overall our teaching faculty was above average. Cooperative and supportive.

Pros and cons of Studying in Asm's Ibmr pune

Placement Experience:

1) students become eligible for placements just after they complete their second semester examinations 2) only local companies visited to our colleges such as per Pooja, weblink services etc which were very small scale local organisations offering very poor packages to the students 3) the average package that my batch got was 2.lakhs per annum and the highest was 6 lpa where before admission the college claimed the average packages to be 6lpa and Highest to be above 10lpa 4) the percentage of students getting placed is not more than 10-15% 5)my plans after getting the degree is to look for better companies outside my college because my college hasn't been helpful in terms of placements in any manner .

Remarks:

College is almost good .this for those who want only masters but no placement .if you also want to get placed in any company need only degree ur welcome. The management is worst the nonteaching staff doesn't know how to talk with students especially the admission office. I here declare whatever I have seen and suffered I presented my view about this college to you, not it's your choice to go to heaven like symbiosis or choose hell. I was misguided and helpless so I came here means I got fewer marks in a snap so please students appear for snap sincerely.

Good exposure and faculty

Remarks:

The campus is good having basic facilities like free Wifi. The campus also has a canteen which serves food during all college hours starting from 8 in the morning. The college has a clean and green atmosphere. The crowd is also good. The college administration is supportive to the students. The chairperson herself organises a session with the students regularly.

IMT Nagpur- Thriving in a Student-Run Environment

Eligibility for this course is an undergraduate degree. Additionally one has to appear for an entrance exam like Cat, Xat or Cmat. For cat and xat a safe percentile is above 80 to get an interview call. For cmat one can target above 95 percentile. The application form is available online and one can apply either for all campuses of IMT through common application form or just IMT Nagpur. The form fee is around ?1000 to ?2000. The form is opened before cat exam and generally also re-opened before or after cat / xat results. One can expect form to reopen before CMAT exam as well. The admission process was smooth as it was online when i appeared for it. There was an essay test, a Statement of purpose and a personal interview with 2 panelists. The difficulty level can be increased for the interview. Otherwise they also conduct offline interviews now in various cities so there should not be a problem.
