The infrastructure was amazing, very well updated with modern equipment. High level of discipline maintained by the college. A very professional team of councilors. Apart from studies a lot of activities and events for the students. Beautiful and clean campus.
Course Curriculum Overview
This course was selected due to my interest in the field. Each class of 60 was divided in 2 batches for learning convenience. The teaching method was standardized and teachers had their own experience in the industry to support their teachings and give examples. 2 exams a year and clearly if you have bunked college it was difficult to pass.
Internships Opportunities
I was sent to the four seasons hotel Mumbai for a 6 monthly departmental training experience. Rs 4000/- per month was paid. A detailed analysis of the training experience was asked in the form of a project report.
Placement Experience
Being a hotel management college many hotels would hold interview drives at the college. Only final year students were eligible for sitting in the interviews. Colleges would provide with 40 to 50 % students with jobs. Every hospitality brand would hold their interview drive at the college.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees had to be paid in 2 installments or time depending on the students. No scholarship that I am aware of. Campus recruitment and internship was available from the college.
Campus Life
Annually there was a hospitality festival where the entire campus was converted to a 5 star hotel with all departments manned and working 24/7 for 5 days. Library was available with books and students could easily take photo copies. The classrooms had proper air-conditioning, practical labs were up to date with latest equipment. Inter class sports matches were normal and be played on Saturdays when it was a holiday.
Interview Experience
The first meeting was with admin in charge who showed us around and explained the fee structure. There was a personal interview of student and parents with the principal. Brochures were provided with adequate information.
