Course Curriculum Overview
Well after getting into the graduation program I found alot of similarities between diploma and graduation course. It helped me quite a bit. But I found its very necessary to have some computer knowledge as per market demand which isn't available in mechanical engineering department. The course fee is around 160k for 3 years which I feel is legit. As for campus recruitment I don't think many companies visit our campus but some sure do. The packages aren't that good though maybe other departments (computer science) get better packages. I hope when I graduate some good companies would visit our campus and we would get a chance to get good package.
Placement Experience
Placement in mechanical engineering sector is not so good but some companies do visit. But placement in Diploma is really good.
College Events
Tech festival, college social, reunion, sport festivals etc. It's mostly limited between students and teachers of various departments. The festival's aren't much big but everyone gets to enjoy their time. My favourite was sports festival as we got to enjoy our time with the kids of global institues primary school.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The total fee for my 3 year program is 160k. Which is less than other colleges respectively. I feel secure about the amount I pay. We got to pay the fee semester wise (6 semester in total) there are no additional fee or hidden fee. College accepts both hand cash payment or payment through internet banking which is very helpful for everyone.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes I tried. I got scholarship from government. Scholarship amount is 30000 per year which is very helpful for financially weak family like mine.
Campus Life
There is no gender based inequality within our college. Both boys and girls enjoy same services from college. No political influence either. In total I can say that I have never seen any type of inequality. What we all want is to get job with good package so we have really good bond among us. Teachers are also connected with us through Gmail or Whatsapp. In one word I can say very good student-teacher collaboration.
Alumni/Alumna
Not really. We have better connection with teachers. I don't really know much about this really sorry about that. But I never met an alumni.
Admission
After completing diploma in mechanical engineering from government college, global institute of technology and management took me in for higher course which is bachelor of technology in mechanical engineering which can help me get better opportunities in life from jobs perspective.
Faculty
Yes our department teachers have very good knowledge in their respective fields. The try their best to provide us knowledge of their respective fields. As I'm still in 2nd year no certification program held yet. But I believe before graduation industry-experience or certification program will be held.
