My college is good. I made many friend here who's in touch with me.

Course Curriculum Overview

In college are course running semester wise system. Exam was conduct in month of November and april of every year. In each semester three time monthy test conducted. Course cover all the information about his field. Slaybss cover all the basic details.

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 96000 per year

Placement Experience

Placement of college is average now days. Because the condition of industry is not good. But which student selected in campus placement have good option in his field.

College Events

In my college 12 different course running. Each department has celebrate their event 3 or 4 in year. One was technical fest and second for cultural and academic. Fresher and farewell party celebrate every year. Mainly in feburary month a fest is celebrated at college levet all department are enjoy together.

Fee Structure And Facilities

According to compair private college fees of this college is low. But my personally opinion is the fees structure of college is quite high. Because in the laboratory 70 instruments are with old technique. All fees submitted in direct bank( Bank of india) with challan. College provide transparency in fee breakdown. No hidden fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

In the college all government scholarship available for students. 4 or 5 type major scholarship applied by student. Post metric scholarship for poor student who have financial weak (annual parents income less then 250000).

Campus Life

Campus life is very good. Total are of college near about 130 acre. In the college grounds are available for cricket, football, basket ball, kabaddi and a hall for indoor game. Ratio of gender 60:40 (boy:girl). Each department have own 4 to 5 lab. Competition are fine state level.

Hostel Facilities

In the campus 8 hostel available for both girl and boy. Sharing room is available for 2 or 3 person. 5 hostel for boys and 3 for boy. Rent of room 8700 rs per semester when in was in college. If some student are intrested for living in PG its available 6 km away gor college. PG rent 6500rs.

Hostel Fee: INR 17500 per yearExternal Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Some student have very good network with the alumni. But all have connected with seniors. Only super senior helps us in industry.

Admission

I have done the diploma in textile technology. So, I am looking for a good college. I selected this for my Graduation. I heard about this college. My senior and teacher suggest me for this college. Here addmission start in june and july month but batch start for 1 august.

Faculty

I let you know about only my department. The lectures are highly qualified. 4 teachers done P. Hd, 3 teachers done master and 2 teacher graduated. ( 2 teacher non technical). They all have average 8-10 year experience in industry. So, they teach also practically.

The infrastructure is great with state of the art labs and equipment
The library is really nice place to study
Lots of hangout spots in and around campus

Less opportunities for core branches as less core companies visit campus
75 percent attendance policy for classes
Very high fees compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

The Scholarship benefit is good when compared to other universities the fee is also not very huge.The Infrastructure of the campus was vast and there arelots of stall to purchase food items etc
There is a big mall through which You can get necessary items .In every hostel you will have departmental stores
The faculty was highly qualified. The Placements opportunities are also good The average was offered was 5-6 LPA.The Lpu newly Launched Education Revolution is very good for students

Dislikes

The mandatory 75% attendance policy for every subject.If you not maintain you will debar from End term examinations which is not all good
The Roads are not that much good .The roads are made of parking tiles instead of Thar
The distance between hostels and main gates are nearly 1.5 -2 km which not at all good .but there e-rickshaw they charge 15 rupees per person to drop from hostel to main gate

The course cirriculum changes every year by rapid changes happening due to AI The University has also launched a new school called School of AI and emerging technologies.from this every year syllabus changesand exams pattern changes .the difficulty of exams is increasing day by day.

Likes

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

The environment of the college is so nice, helpful staff, AC labs for CS deptt.
Canteen and water facilities and park in both deptts
Skilled professional educators and tutors

Dislikes

Distance of travelling coz for me its too much far
Nothing as of now everything was good enough

- Limited campus opportunities were available, and most students become eligible from the final year. - The average package was around 2-5 LPA. - after my degree my plan is to improve my employability my strengthening my technical skill in my domain

Mess food was bad but it doesn't taste that bad
If we Complaint about anything college mostly ignore it

From 7th sem students become eligible for campus placements and tata or Infosys companies visited and about 60 to 70 percent students were placed and my plans after getting the degree is to opt for higher studies doing mtech from iit

I like the machines that's why I choose the mechanical branch in engineering line. Noida , Gurgoan , Chandigarh , Bengluru and many other areas for improvements in the course curriculum and teaching methods.

Good infrastructure, campus and faculty. Have to improve placements and industrial visits.

Likes

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

The sports and the various facilities that they provide for relaxing
The Library that remains open till 10-11 at night for those who wish to study till late
Great mentors and very helpful teachers who are always willing to help

Dislikes

The hectic schedule and curriculum that the students have to follow.
The lack of certain facilities that would help the students improve thoer personalities
Too much strictness and restrictions with everything that someone wishes to do

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum

I didn't apply for other colleges. I chose this college as it was near my hometown and there were circumstances which prevented me from going too far from home. That's why, I chose this college. The admission process is simple. You need to have passed your senior secondary education in any central and state board. Exams accepted are JEE Mains and Board examinations. Most of the admissions here are based on counselling sessions, even after that, there is option of direct admission. Admission is quick and can be done by student himself also. Firstly there is no entrance exam for admission in any course except phd. There is a ik gujral and mrsptu counseling for admission. 60% percentage is needed in PCM course in the senior secondary or in diploma course from any Institute or university. Application form is available online in the university website only.
