Remarks

If you don't have any choice and absolutely have to go for it by all means go for it. But if you can look for a better college, try for it.

Course Curriculum Overview

2

The college curriculum as is in most Indian colleges irrelevant to the actual job that the students are supposed to do after graduation. An entire year is wasted on studying subject that aren't even from the stream of your choice just because they think that you might have a change of heart.

Placement Experience

1.5

The placement is bare minimum for engineering courses. Rip offs of companies would visit the college. Instead of TCS TSS would come to hire the student.

College Events

3

Invertis university is big on events and are the only thing you might enjoy if you have never been to a party in your life. They have events which would make school fests like international concerts. They barely can accommodate any one and the auditorium chairs are always broken so you have to sit on chairs with shards coming out of them.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Very feasable. 1 lpa is almost something anyone could afford. But do you really want to mess up your career just for the sake of saving a couple of lacs. If you absolutely cannot afford anything else, welcome to Invertis but if you have a slightest chance to go for something better, opt for that.

Fees and Financial Aid

I simply went to the nearest PNB branch and asked for a student loan. They asked me for my transcripts and the process was done with in a month.

Campus Life

2.5

The gender ratio is pretty healthy to be honest. The have a lot of extracurricular activities. The have separate clubs that look over these matters and even have events such as open mics and debates. But truth be told no event could make a shy guy come up to stage if he doesn't want to and the faculties aren't interested in doing that either.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

Yes. Hostels are a mess to be honest. The warden rules the hostels with an iron fist. Would even decline you outings at times even if you have a holiday coming up. The mess where the food is supposed to be made for everyone equally exists only to serve hot and edible food to girls hostel. Boy's mess gets what's left after serving the girls mess. I've been here 3 years and I don't remember the last time I had a hot meal at my college.

Alumni/Alumna

In my particular experience I might actually have more expertise in my course work than all of my seniors combined so no.

Admission

I opted this college just because it was the most affordable one at that moment. Being the single kid at my home I had no prior experience regarding choosing college and it seems I might have made a hasty decision and made a mistake in this particular matter.

Faculty

2.5

The faculties are well educated but are pity and have weird outlook regarding the market for someone who claim to have spent over 3-4 years in the said field. The faculties love to suck up to their seniors and would barely ever take stand for something. I learned that one the hard way.

Placement Experience:

If the CPGA is good and have good skills then campus placement is almost confirm, but in recent situation even campus placement has become hard. Mass hiring companies with 3.6lpa are becoming more prominent. 90% sitiing in placement are placed and average is 9 lpa for CSE but lower for other courses. If unplaced then I will apply off campus while studying for GATE.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Official Curriculum: Good What was actually taught: Just horrible We were taught pre-ANSI C in the first year We were taught outdated DOM APIs in WebDev classes that were deprecated and strongly recommended against We were taught Java 1.8 instead of modern Java and a lot of times the teachers insisted that the syntax I used was incorrect even when the code was compiling and running in front of their very own eyes with the same syntax in place.

Course Curriculum Overview:

IIITL placement stats r v.good that is the only reason i took this college. And also it is a growing college so in future hope it is also good in fests and cultural activities as well. Areas of improvement is the tecaher student interaction as the teachers and directors r not interested in what students do, so yaa that thing and also the fests they suck. Exams all good nothing to change.

At JSSATE, from second year trainings start and after that we have to give various mocks at the university. So, training is done proper and therefore placements automatically becomes easy for us. Around 70-75% students are placed through campus and in my words, placements are better than the rest.
