Course Curriculum Overview
I tried for campus placements but wasn’t able to get one because there’s so much competition to get a job. Company’s vacancy is just 50 employees and nearly 8000-1000 apply for the job. So it’s very difficult. If you’re not from main campus, then it’s much difficult for you because they prioritise main campus students first.
Placement Experience
Placements in today’s life is very worst as there are so maant engineers and less job vacancy’s. In the coming time, it’s going to be much difficult.
College Events
Technical, cultural -Milan, kratorq. e.t.c. Many such events are celebrated. But the faculties don’t allow us for all events. They say we would miss the lectures. So we aren’t allowed to attend all the events celebrated in our campus and other campus.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Ofcourse expensive. It’s between 1. 8L-6L according to the catagort of engineering. Normal person can’t afford doing any type of course tat Srm institute of science and technology. Their exam fees even cross 10k per year. It’s very difficult for a middle class family to afford.
Fees and Financial Aid
I didn’t opted for any scholarships/loans but I know my friends who did. They just went to the campus and availed it.
Campus Life
Campus life is awesome. They even get workshops arranged for us every month. Mostly they don’t Judge anyone with gender, ethnicity, race, religion, politics, e. t. c. The people here have nice quality and very helpful if you get in to any trouble other than studies.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are available but the amount they charge is very high and the service they provide is very poor. One who joins hostel fir 1st year, they don’t opt from 2nd year. So it’s very difficult for us.
Alumni/Alumna
They are very helpful. They say us what courses will help us in getting jobs and what can we do in future about oud post graduation.
Admission
I joined through Entrance exam- SRMEEE. You can apply this from their online web page. It’ll cost you nearly 1500 for the entrance exam fee. If you go by management quota, your fees would be approx 1. 2X. So better try entrance exam first. If you go out, try management then.
Faculty
There are 50-60 lecturers with average age of 40 and average qualification of m. tech. Even if they teach, we can’t get the whole knowledge. We’re supposed to read again and again. Faculty’s behaviour’s not nice. They become rude when we ask the same doubt again.
